Hard hard is it to get this "news" right? You have had over a year to reserach it. Most school boards apporve and post calendars up to a year in advance!

Aw, Heck now I got to listen to all the noise in the morning. Watch the kids run across your lawn all day. Just hanging out doing nothing constructive. Parents, please give your kids something too do instead of hanging out getting into trouble.

The Carroll County Schools website that you have listed is for Maryland not Georgia. The website to go to to aee the school schedule is www.carrollcountyschools.com

Must be easy to be a reporter, not checking things out. They have the following wrong:
Clark Co - Its a link to Clark Co Virgina schools Correct date and link:May 21st http://www.clarke.k12.ga.us/home/index.jsp Decatur - It a link to Decatur Illinois Correct date and link:May 23rd http://www.decatur-city.k12.ga.us/ Gilmer Co - Its a link to Gilmer West Virgina Correct date and link: May 23rd http://www.gilmerschools.com Union - Its a link to Union North Carolina Correct date and link:May 23rd http://www.ucschools.org/ All it takes is a second for the reporter/researcher to click the link to know you are posting the wrong one and I'm sure you did click them because you got the school calendars from their sites to list the wrong dates for last days of school. |

It would be very helpful to have Jackson County included in extended Metropolitan Atlanta list. It is located right between Hall County and Barrow County. It is a lot closer to Atlanta than Rabun County (for instance).

Ohhhh, I can't wait for school to be out. I could swear some of these assignments are aimed at parents these days.. I am counting down!!!!!

You make a good point, however year round school doesn't have to be the answer. Better QUALITY DURING the school year is a better solution. I understand the world is so much different than when I was a child. The thing is, I so enjoyes my summers off. My son goes to my mother's home for a large part of the summer, and he LIVES for those summers away in the country. |
