Meghan Sorbera’s Murderer, John Duffy, Up For Parole After 20 Months in Jail

John Duffy Went to prison (Collins – Medium Security) April 9, 2009 for killing Meghan Sorbera. The former attorney and convicted felon has a parole hearing next month.

We need to voice our opinions to have his parole denied!!!

This was the sum bag Lawyer who was out boozing after a Sabre game, hit a pedestrian on South Park in Hamburg and took off. He tried to cover it up but got caught. Afterwards he said he thought he hit a garbage can so he didn’t stop.

What was the victim's race? If they were white, I'll ask for them to deny parole. Any other race and I'll picket for his release.

I guess it it was my kid he killed I would try to get him out on parole for the obvious reason.

Look out...the parole board is very political and connected to judges...and he was a lawyer, as are all the elected city, county and state judiciary...and they like to cover for their brothers. Parole for a criminal lawyer...is unfortunately a liklihood.
The coward should stay where he is, as that crime was one of the worst actions any criminal could participate in...and being a lawyer to boot, and running out of town to cover it up....worthy of full jail time.
Sentencings should have mandatory citizen input, as the politically selected and elected judges know they have 14 yrs to do whatever they feel like doing to screw the public, and are doing so, like probation for all the many high monetary embezzlers...so it is now time for the public to take control of the out of control... NY State Government elected officials sitting in our taxpayer offices.
