Suspects Shoot at Police During High Speed Chase
Speeds run in excess of 100 miles per hour. A Buffalo police officer was not hurt when the driver of an SUV opened fire early Wednesday evening, shooting the officer's patrol car. via WKBW-TV

now how much gas was wasted in this pursuit? as a taxpayer, I'm outraged they wasted that much very expensive fuel. couldn't they get the plate number and send them a summons in the mail? what would cariol horne have done? let's hear her opinion!

Who determines these speeds, the media? I would bet it's impossible to drive 100 thru city streets..
