Not quiet, Mr Impostor. My father retired from BFD in 1955, so I think anyone he worked with would be in their mid 70's and would have been retired by now...unless they are like Night Heat and can't afford to

No life the guys at the seneca/swan station just got bored and went across the street on a coffee break and got back before anybody say he was gone.

And you said they could never sneak away from the fire house.

Have fun have to get back to work, Have a nice day

I doubt it TBird.

Unlike volunteers, REAL firemen don't get bored. They have plenty to do in an urban enviornemnt and they are always short staffed. If they are lucky enough to have some down time, they spend it studying for promotional exams. REAL firemen take promotional exams, whereas volunteers move into leadership positions based on who has the nicest truck and the most free time on their hands.

Volunteers on the other hand, go weeks at a time without a single call. That is why you see 50 of them showing up to a dumpster fire or fender bender and they black up the road while they turn a minor incident into a circus....anything to draw attention to themselves.

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Virgo

Going out could be dangerous on this wild and woolly day when anything can happen. You'll need to expect the unexpected and take special care in public places. Your friends and associates may need your assistance but they may also be a drain on your resources and your sanity. Romance can be exhilarating but may be tinged with just a touch of obsession.
