They don't care about facts or evidence. The spoonbills were way overdue for a demonstration of why they are on par with a mule...stubborn and stupid

NBC Fires Producer of Misleading Zimmerman Tape

By BRIAN STELTER

NBC News has fired a producer who was involved in the production of a misleading segment about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida.

The person was fired on Thursday, according to two people with direct knowledge of the disciplinary action who declined to be identified discussing internal company matters. They also declined to name the fired producer. A spokeswoman for NBC News declined to comment.

The action came in the wake of an internal investigation by NBC News into the production of the segment, which strung together audio clips in such a way that made George Zimmerman’s shooting of Mr. Martin sound racially motivated. Ever since the Feb. 26 shooting, there has been a continuing debate about whether race was a factor in the incident.

The segment in question was shown on the “Today” show on March 27. It included audio of Mr. Zimmerman saying,“This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”

But Mr. Zimmerman’s comments had been taken grossly out of context by NBC. On the phone with a 911 dispatcher, he actually said of Mr. Martin,“This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.” Then the dispatcher asked,“O.K., and this guy — is he white, black or Hispanic?” Only then did Mr. Zimmerman say,“He looks black.”

The editing of the segment was initially noticed by NewsBusters, an arm of the Media Research Center, a conservative media monitoring group. On March 31, NBC told The Washington Post that it would investigate.

Zimmerman deserved to get his head smashed in. If some fat vigilante wannabe was stalking me, I would bounce his head off the curb too. Zimmerman had no right to accost Martin.

Zimmerman was also mentally I'll. Mentally I'll people should not own firearms, for obvious reasons

For obvious reasons, the characterizations of "stalk", "vigilante", and "accost" do not apply to this situation. And you'd be guilty of assault if you took that action. By yelling some version of "I'm going to kill you" during that assault, you just gave the other person a reason to fear for their life. But we know you'd never really do that.

If some guy follows close behind me in a car, for no valid reason, as isvthe case here, then that is stalking.

Zimmerman acted of his own free will, and DECIDED to get out of hs car and approach Martin , the word vigilante fits perfectly. He could have waited for police but CHOSE not to.

Stopping someone legally walking down a street is by definition an accost

Stalking implies an intent to do harm.

Vigilante is someone who imposes punishment on a lawbreaker.

Nothing shows Martin was stopped by anyone. More likely is he approached Zimmerman.

How do you follow someone closely yet lose sight of them?

People in that community could have just waited timidly for yet another break-in but chose not to. Those bad, bad people.

And these bad, bad fabrications and repetition of obviously false stories to escalate a tragedy into a racial confrontation help no one.

Anyone who is being followed would considernthemselves being stalked. The whole situation is zimmermans fault, as he clearly has serious mental problems

Oh, like anyone on neighborhood watch due to numerous recent burglaries would consider a hooded figure wandering between buildings on a rainy night to be suspicious and worth watching?

If you came after me because you "considered" me to be stalking you and I posed no immediate threat, YOU would be committing a crime. When discovered you had a cell phone in your hand, what is your explanation for not calling 911 yourself if you felt so threatened?

Paranoia is a mental problem, isn't it? Do you suffer from it - or just enjoy it immensely?

What Zimmerman did is not considered stalking under the legal statues of the State of Florida.

It has already been stated that it was actually Martin who accosted Zimmerman and initiated the assault.

How does a narcissist as yourself judge somebody to have "serious mental problems"?

Trayvon Martin police report reveals Zimmerman was ‘bleeding from the nose and back of head’
The facts are: African Americans make up 15% of the U.S.population, but they account for 49% of
all murder victims in the United States. 93% of those murders are committed by fellow African
Americans. Why not March and protest against killing each other, this is the biggest problem that needs to be addressed.
If this is true, then this is likely what happened (when we combine this with the 911 call):

1. Zimmerman spots Martin and starts following him.
2. Martin spots Zimmerman following him.
3. Seeing that Zimmerman has continued to follow him, Martin calls 911.
3. Zimmerman says something to get Martin's attention.
4. Martin keeps walking.
5. Zimmerman says something racist to Martin.
6. Martin finally confronts him, and a fight ensues, during which both men are injured.
7. Zimmerman pulls a gun and shoots Martin.
8. Police arrive and Zimmerman plays innocent and cries self-defense.

Martin called his girlfriend and told her he was being followed, he felt threatened...that's what syg law is all about. Zimmerman CHOSE to approach Martin even though THE POLICE TOLD HIM NOT TO.

Martin could only accost Zimmerman, BECAUSE ZIMMERMAN WAS FOLLOWING HIM, which is the legal definition of menacing.
The whole situation isnzimmermans doing.

Who calls their girlfriend when they feel threatened and scared - except for Lief Coach? Your story is just a little short - much like LIEF's thingy. If them guardian angels were actually there, they didn't do much of a job, did they?

Florida is considering some new legislation. Its called the STFU law.
