Apparently they no longer desire for people to see the discontent among their viewership on this matter.
Let them know how distasteful their decision to try and squelch the public is at the following places:

How ironic that a media company is trying to squash those using their first amendment right.

The pressure must be getting to them. If they didn't have anything to be ashamed of, they wouldn't be trying to censor this board.

Try reading (if you can) Pergament's article in today's Buffalo News. You'll find out TW has quite a bit of responsibility in this mess, as well. You might learn a few things which are quite interesting.

Can't believe WIVB removed their link to this from there homepage! What a joke! Wouldn't they cry foul if someone tried to censor THEM at the scene of a big news story? If they keep this kind of thing up (censoring the viewers) they will rapidly be losing viewers.

I have been watching blacked out Yankee games on it for years. IT WORKS. Every single post about sopcast gets removed. ha!
You do not need cable or satellite. SOPCAST is a FREE FREE FREE little proggie that lets you watch shows, ESPECIALLY blacked out games, and SPORTS galore, on your computer. ALL YOU NEED IS THE INTERNET. There's PPMATE too. You download them, enter your channel number and on Windows Media Player, you have your show, in English with regular announcers. They have movies too.
This post will be gone in minutes...
Because Big Brother doesn't want people to use SOPCAST. It's NOT a bittorent program.

Why should I have to dump anything or inconvenience myself by watching things on the internet..when I paid and am paying for channel 4 through TIME WARNER?
This was the deal..2,4,7,, HBO and hundreds of other channels...TIME WARNER COULD PULL THIS EVERYWHERE..ANYTIME!

I have over the years liked WIVB but NOw I think it is time that I start calling their ADVer. and C.B.S. and tell them I will NOT be watching WIVB , WE can't even get on this web site if we go thru wivb. We all know that Time-Warner eventually raises their rates anyway. They add NEW stations which are moronic to a normal person..BOTH of these companies are at fault..As usual 2 major companies are fighting with each other & who loses? Always the person paying their bills. What about Veterans & shut-ins & elderly..All they have is their T.V.? Like a average bill-paying hard-working person,pull up your bootstraps.Give all 3 stations something & get on with it..We finally get the NFL to let us watch the Bills, now this..I for one am not switching..You have to take their PACKAGE.Well, my husband likes the Outdoor Channel & Versus..I WILL just cancel cable & start reading again OR maybe get a life!!!

Did I miss something? I haven't been online in a few weeks but didn't WIVB's website used to show/allow comments to most of thier stories? When I go to thier site now, I don't see comments to any stories? Or was I just imagining that they used to show comments?

Yeah, they got tired of hearing us vent our frustrations about the B.S. that was going on! So to make it harder for other people to read and write about their STUPID ways they removed the link from their website. Doesn't that seem to you that they are trying to hide something? If they were so right in their actions they wouldn't have done all that they did!! It just proves that they SUCK!!!
