Being that Birthers are truly the DUMBEST PEOPLE IN AMERICA....even Jan Brewer wont side with them.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed a bill late Monday that would have required President Barack Obama and other presidential candidates to prove they were American citizens, born in the United States, before their names could have been placed on the state ballot.

The so-called "birther bill" got final approval in the state House last week. Now that Brewer, a Republican, has vetoed it, the bill will not become law unless legislators vote to override her veto.

"As a former Secretary of State, I do not support designating one person as a gatekeeper to the ballot for a candidate, which could lead to arbitrary or politically-motivated decisions," the governor wrote in a letter addressed to the Arizona House speaker.

Under the measure, if there were any dispute about whether a candidate had proved he or she had been born in the United States, Arizona's secretary of state would have the final say.

"This measure creates significant new problems while failing to do anything constructive for Arizona," she added.

If Obama had parents who were BOTH American AND was born ON U.S. Soil he WOULD be eligible to be President.

we would like to see his college transcripts, that is merely our preference, but this whole notion of him not being born in the usa is a matter of law, I am amazed that he wasn't arrested when the authorities found out that he wasn't even a citizen of the usa. I can't believe how dumb some people are on this forum.

You Tard. If you claim Obama is not a US citizen, then he can't be charged with Treason, you can only charge a US citizen of that.

BTW - Juan McCain was born in Panama. He's not a Natural Born Citizen either, he is a U.S. National with "declared" citizenship since at least one of his parents was a US citizen.

I said that Obama is not a "Natural-Born Citizen" which is not the same as statutory citizenship. You are right. Juan is NOT an NBC either and no Senate resolution can make him so.

Actrually that is incorrect. McCain was born in the US territory of the Panama Canal Zone, which the USA turned over to the country of Panama decades after his birth, and he was born on a US naval base, to a 4 star Admiral. He was technically thus born on US soil, and is a natural born citizen, just as os any child born to a US diplomat in any US Embassy in any other country is born on "US soil".
