How can you not know there is a train coming? I don't get it. It's unfortunate.

Sad but typical of those who buy lottery tickets & scratch offs. They are always engrossed in what they are doing...always IGNORANTLY holding up convenience lines paying no consideration to anyone around them who are paying for daily needs, not that useless garbage.
There should be stores just for those "people" so the rest of us don't have to put up with them.
I can't believe the amount of losers I see doing scratch offs right at the counter & then buying more when they lose, or the same losers who do them in their car, then doing the same thing.
Just shows you the kind of "ilk" that buys lottery tickets.
That's just the way it is!

He still should have felt the vibration or sensed something was eminent

What do you care what people spend their money on. Maybe because you "call" yourself a Dr. you have more money than you need.

I agree. Separate lines. I am sick of those jerks who have no idea what they want to buy before they walk up to a counter. They are a bunch of losers anyway.

I agree. And those slobs think nothing of throwing their losing tickets out their car windows, and littering. Ever notice how much GARBAGE is flying around Buffalo's streets? And even those who do and comment on it, will throw stuff on the ground and think that they did not contribute to the garbage.
THAT is another reason we care about those dimwits who stand around scratching off their tickets.

It would be nice to have more information regarding this unfortunate accident. I personally do not care about his money or source of..... I would rather know where was his friend? Was he deaf?
This is a local story and there are so many gaps and unanswered questions.... people are left resorting to commenting on the lottery ticket, how it was purchased, his source of income until posting on how getting hit by a train is an expected outcome for those people who buy scratch-offs or lottery tickets, people please!
