Concert tonight by "Kurt's Back"

Local rock favorites "Kurt's Back" will be performing tonight at 8 pm at Gillies Sports Bar and Grill on Colvin Blvd in Tonawanda. I recommend checking them out, especially if you've never seen them before. The lead vocalist, "Swab", brings a ton of energy to the stage. A must see event.

I am meeting Van Miller at the Grapevine at 5pm for early cocktails of Southern Comfort Manhattan's, It's then off to Gillies. The last time I was there was when it was "The Brown Baron". I used to ride my Huffy there with Van on the handlebars, he developed some serious sphincter problems due to me riding up and down curbs. We would tease the other bikers in the bar and always end up in a rumble. Van was a terrific fighter, he would bite people on the ankles and grab them by the testicles until they agreed to slow dance with him.

What a wonderful time I had watching "Kurt's Back" and "Letdown Johnny and the Diplomats" last night at Gillies Sports Bar. My evening began with a delicious dinner of succulent shrimp scampi at the Grapevine, washed down with three dirty martinis. From there I went to Gillies. I spent the next three hours drinking and dancing to the melodious tones of "Kurt's Back" and their lead singer, Swab. He is known as "The Velvet Frog". 8 shots of Crown Royal later I was slow dancing with a biker. He had gentle hands, as I recall. The rest of the night is a blur. Thank you, Kurt's Back, and thank you Biker Jim.

I too attended the event at Gillies. I really only wanted to play darts but ended up watching the infamous band Kurt's Back. They got my juices flowing and after 12 shots of Chivas Regal and 4 drafts I danced on top of the bar and threw my panties into the crowd.
