McGruff: "Corporations pay far more taxes than individuals. Especially the bottom 50%. Just look at the billions oil companies pay each year. They don't get welfare. They pay billions every year in taxes. They are paying the way."

They get those billions of dollars for taxes from their customers - who pay even more taxes on those products at the pump and off the shelf. The taxes oil companies pay are built into the price point, with billion$ over that in profit.

Do better.

McGruff: "Now the poor do pay sales taxes. I notice that CA is proposing raising sales tax to keep those public union employees pensions rolling. So who is being hurt by that? The rich? Hardly! The poor are suffering for the liberals biggest supporters."

CA's budget has been a mess for decades, no matter who is/was running Sacramento.
People shouldn't be overpaid for what they do and I don't think a government employee should be underpaid or lack benefits just because they are a government employee. When a CA janitor makes $40k a year, as I'd read in another post, to me it's an indicator that something is wrong with the pay scales - and I'll betcha it's the unions that caused it. I don't like union scale, closed shops, etc. But not to throw out the baby with the bathwater, employment would be totalitarian without worker representation and collective bargaining.
That aside, you said it yourself. "So who is being hurt by that? The rich? Hardly!"

McGruff: "Liberals hate business and are jealous of people who have worked hard and been successful. That is a fact and not an opinion."
"Democrats are all for greed. Their greed."
"Again liberals are hate filled, jealous, and evil people. Their policies are evil."

Fact, huh? Cite your sources. It shouldn't be hard. You say this rhetoric over and over and over, so you MUST have CONCRETE DATA to support liberals' emotions of hatred and jealousy at your fingertips. You should easily be able to quantify "greed" and "evil" since you have the facts. While you are at it, would you mind demonstrating that Republicans are TOTALLY DEVOID of these things? Maybe a letter from the Pope or the Grand Wizard?

Silly child mind.

I call bullshit on that garbage. It is now required of you to produce such evidence to support your case. YOU are a liar.

You say, "Just look at the billions oil companies pay each year."

In 2009 Exxon Mobil paid ZERO in federal income tax. Phkin ZERO.

Even when oil companies pay they pay at a lesser rate than individuals. The Center for American Progress reports that when paying taxes, oil companies pay at around 17%.

Provide your info. Cite your sources. YOU lie again.

McGruff: "yes it easy to prove. Just listen to Amy obammy speech. There is all the proof anyone should ever need."

That is not sourced data or fact of liberal hate and jealosy, it only proves your own.

McGruff: "And let's not forget the NY liberals yelling "burn in hell" to a bunch of kids singing a patriot song in front of their school."
I don't endorse bad behavior, language or judgement, as you continually fail to notice...
I do my best not to take things out of context to further a personal agenda.
The principal of the school (ie. Queen of her little kingdom) declined to allow the kindergarteners to sing Lee Greenwood's God Bless the U.S.A." because she felt that it would be offensive to some cultures.(I think it's much more likely she's just a nutcase tyrant who doesn't like country music.) She thought it would be better for them to sing a pop song - Justin Bieber's "Baby".(That proves the nutcase part.) Families who took exception to her decided to invite Representative Bob Turner (R) to their protest, which was held at a park. In a remarkable demonstration of his OWN bad judgement, he and his staff turned it into a political presser for HIM, instead of keeping it on the subject of free expression.
The protester was not heckling the kids. He was yelling at the politician and supporters that were USING the children for political publicity.
“The kids don’t even know what they’re singing. They got something you tell them to say. It’s ridiculous,” he said.“It’s sad, sad, sad. You all are going to burn in hell. You all burn in hell. Shame on you. Shame on you.”
McGruff: "Or liberals support of OWS."
Redistribution of weatlth? LOL! Rich or poor, EVERYBODY wants to redistribute wealth to their own bank account! OWS has more than its fair share of crackpots, but the core of it is that laws and regulations are too heavily weighted toward the advantage of the financial elite, and given the lack of accountability and penalties assessed against trespassers in the MANY financial collapses around the world, I'd say they have a case.

"And one last point." lah de dah. more dribble.

Where on Earth did you get the idea that liberals hold the primary responsibility for increased taxes? Do you EVER do your own research, or do you just peruse a list of conservative bloggers? How do you figure Republicans and Democrats don't vie for votes THE EXACT SAME WAY?

I'm bored with this. I've tried to be impartial, to raise rational and decent points to illustrate that partisanship is based on the fantasy that there is a monster under the bed. Obviously, people like McGruff will NEVER EVER understand that there are no principles in prejudice. I firmly believe that his brand of extemism - whether it be political, religious or cultural, must be a physiological as well as a psychiatric disorder, and that any further attempts at reason are as futile as the first was.

I'm washing my hands of the cretin. He'll say "he won." More fantasy. More delusion. More self deception. I'm over it. Have a nice life.

And here is wyou fiond out the Forbes (right wing media arm) is telling a bunch of shit. From their following:

"ExxonMobil in 2011 made $27.3 billion in cash payments for income taxes. Chevron paid $17 billion and ConocoPhillips $10.6 billion. And not only were these the highest amounts in absolute terms, when compared with the rest of the 25 most profitable U.S. companies (see our slideshow for the full rundown of who paid what), the trio also had the highest effective tax rates. Exxon’s tax rate was 42.9%, Chevron’s was 48.3% and Conoco’s was 41.5%. That’s even higher than the 35% U.S. federal statutory rate, which is already the highest tax rate among developed nations."

The article is saying that the oil companies paid more.....you got that mindless....MORE, than the statutory rate.

That my dipshit moron is not only stupid, it's a phkin lie.

Can you refute that or not? If you can't then your little dipshit ass needs to run away.

GE DOES PAY TAXES....... http://factcheck.org/2012/04/warren-ge-pays-n... the claim that it pays no federal income tax at all is disputed by GE. Moreover, aside from corporate income taxes, GE pays payroll taxes, state taxes and local taxes. So Warren’s blanket assertion that GE pays “nothing – zero – in taxes” is simply inaccurate....... Williams also pointed to a company press release, from April 17, on taxes paid by GE. According to that release, GE paid an effective global tax rate of 7 percent in 2010, counting money paid “to the IRS and foreign counterparts” in other nations. That rate was particularly low, Williams said, because the company lost $32 billion in its financial business during the global financial crisis.According to the company release, GE’s effective tax rate jumped to 29 percent in 2011. The company paid $2.9 billion in worldwide corporate income tax in 2011, and another $1 billion in other U.S. taxes that year, the release states.

McGruff: "exactly what agenda is there to kids signing a patriotic song and just exactly why would anyone feel the need to protest or shout burn in hell? Explain that one. They couldn't mind their own business and just walk along?"

I was clear on that, but you were too busy plotting a response in your mind to read it.

You really are unbeleivably stupid aren't you. The article from Forbes WAS NOT what I was citing as my source for my original assertion. I thought you had enough sense to understand that but evidently not. I cited The Center for American Progress as my source.

I then asked why you left that little ditty out and gave you a link from Forbes. Your link was in no way a "retraction". It was a disagreement by Exxon.

Either way my sources for my original assertion were cited. You are a phking idiot.

what was there to protest? Couldn't he just keep his mouth shut? He doesn't have to agree with everything. When is it ever alright to yell burn in hell to someone? Never ! He could have minded his own business but being a typical liberal he felt the need to scream burn in hell.
Mcgruff, do you have any Tinactin in your medicine chest?

1. If it was a democrat that put his sign up behind a bunch of kids singing a patriotic song you'd be all over it.
2. You don't think the guy should have said anything, but you say that he can disagree. "When I want your opinion I'll ask for it" isn't how the first amendment works.
3. I didn't say the guy was proper or respectful. As usual, I corrected your story and filled in the gaps you chose to edit out.
4. Again, whoever disagrees with your 1 party agenda should shut up and sit in the corner?
5. You sit there in Kentucky and tell me that a Brooklynite has no business telling off HIS Representative?
6. The protester didn't espouse any liberalism in his tirade. His insults were aimed directly at a politician who was manipulating a situation to elevate his popularity. Yelling that in front of children was wrong, but I have to withold judgement since I don't know the guy - and neither do you - I don't know what level of frustration prompted him to use that language.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
