emo kids need haircuts

if my son or daughter comes home with an emo hairstyle I will sit them down and buzz off every hair on their head.None of that emo crap in my home.

that is why your children will rebel. As long as they mind, they should be able to express themselves.

The "emo" fad will pass, just give it time. Teens will have another identity to copy off each other before long.

How would you feel if someone knocked you and tried to control your life instead of giving you a little to control for yourself? How can children become themselves if everyone else is telling them whom they have to be and how they should dress? What ever happened to being your own individual?

A hair cut is just that, A HAIR CUT! You are beyond a strict parent, you act more like a warden. There are ways to be strict, then there is your way. You child will soon develop some hate towards you. Let your children express themselves.

Being emo is not a fad, it's a lifestyle that I'm proud to live. It's much more than just long hair and loud music, it's something deep within. I realized I was emo a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. My girlfriend is emo too. And most people are not the stereotypical emo. The stereotype is that we cut. That is 100% not true. I'm strongly against any self harm and if you do you're stupid. But being emo is much more than you thing, it's not just a fad.
