Waukegan boy pleads guilty in gang slaying

Now he has street cred, it just will not do him any good in prison. You think they could have threw down with the fist, but I forgot they can't fight unless they have a gun.

Is this all really happening? It's just getting scarier and scarier. This did not happen because he has a single mother, there had to be so many other factors. Maybe they wouldn't have been heart surgeons, but maybe thay could have been successful and happy in other ways.

As a mother I can tell you if this were my child I would be right there behind him. He made a huge mistake and now he is going to pay for it. Do we need to harass his mother. My heart goes out to her, she did not pull the trigger but I am sure she won't sleep nights anymore. To this boys mom I will remember you in my prayers. But you are not to blame. This is a sad situation. I hope everyone leaves you alone. And may God watch over your son.
