I also believe that he is unethical in child support hearings he states that he does not represent either party, but then makes statements not defending the county but specifically defending the obligee, in my opinion he provides free representation to the obligee.

I find it odd that he is no longer married to his wife (first) and his daughter is no longer with him.

Why would he be parading around the polling places on election day?

Is this the state representative that wants to sell the state parks to fund the State Government? It sounds like he's more problems than he is worth.

This guy is a total fruitcake, however he just joins the other fruitcakes and nuts who allegedly represent us at the capitol. Remember, they make 29,000 bucks a year and for the most part, it is the best job any of this sorry lot ever had. I know they steal per diem for every day they are in session, which is all the more reason to be in session but they make 29,000 a year and that is too much for them.

Actually, as much as I hate to stick up for this thin skinned politico, according to State records he claimed no per Diem during the 1977 regular session and claimed $385 Interim Per Diem and $154 Special Session Per Diem, for a total of $539.

Sandy Pappas on the other hand, who lives within sight of the Capitol on the Saint Paul West Side Bluff, claimed $19,872 Per Diem plus $705.68 in mileage and $4,379 in "other compensation" for a total of $24,957.45.

It's kind of hard to knock Drazkowski who lives about 82 miles from Saint Paul when Pappas who lives 2.3 miles from the Capitol pulled in $24,251.77 more expense money.

It's also interesting to compare Pappas with Mary Murphy, who lives about 150 miles north of Saint Paul and who claimed just $11.682. Less than 1/2 of Pappas. But, no one will hold her accountable.

What about the aquital? He never should have been charged in the first place. It always amazes me when people make judgements about things they know nothing about.

Draz is great!! It's about time someone had the balls to stand up to this tyrant. Nordstrum has been abusing his power against many of Wabasha's citizens. I hope Draz wins this. Go Draz!

I just looked it up. Wow. The State Auditor should be asking questions, but probably wouldn't go up against a powerful Senator line Pappas. What she claimed is just not right, especially when compared to others who live far from Saint Paul..

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Taurus

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
