Marceline man charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

My heart goes out to Bonnie's family. You are ALL in my thoughts and prays.

How can it be INVOLUNTARY manslauter when the women seen him comming and tryied to wave him away? But he didn't see them 3 of THEM!!!

I think he should spend some time in the pen.
Because he has a record of abuse . Maybe some time the pen , he will quit drinking. Now that family will never have there wife,mother,etc

Just who are you to determine whether or not Kevin Harrison should spend time in "the pen" if any. Where is your proof of abuse. No where is there a "record of abuse". Only the dull shit gossip that goes around a small petty and pitiful town like Marceline. Oh yeah, you are a perfect angel who has NEVER done anything wrong or said or done anything to hurt another person. Sadly that poor woman's family will not spend another day on this earth with her. It would seem that your dislike for Kevin Harrison out weighs your fake compassion for the Cooper family by wanting to cause emotional damage to his children. And yet you want to send a man to jail on YOUR PRESUMPTIONS and take him away from his children, two whom are still in grade school. Responsibility for this accident doesn't lie solely on Kevin Harrison.

I am not "beating up" anyone, nor do I have a connection. You seemed to be the individual whose apparently has a connection or had a connection. Ex-girlfriend maybe....or maybe an child of the deceased, or maybe just a person who has nothing better to do but be judgmental of others. Mr. Harrison was found NOT GUILTY on the manslaughter charge, but was charged with boating while intoxicated. Per facts from the trial, Mr. Harrison blew 1/10th over the legal limit. This does not constitute being drunk. The two swimmers were held accountable for swimming out to far in the lake were boats travel.

I agree, Kevin Harrison is a soldier for Christ. It isn't his fault those drug addicts died.

Puffdragon, your wasting your time on this. I agree with you but people are set in their ways. There are very few of us that can stand back and look at a situation with clarity and difne it without bias. I hope he has a cometent attorney.

Mr. Harrison did not kill nor should fry for the ignorance of women in their 60's and who should know better that to swim so far out. Truth is sometimes hard to swallow. The judge had even stated that alcohol played absolutely NO, NONE, ZIP, ZILCH and NOTTA role in the swimming/boating accident. It was also made very clear in the trial that Mr. Harrison's daughter did not see the women swimming in the water and she was not drinking either. Statements in court by witnesses pointed out the boat was traveling in the boat path as one is suppose to. The women were shown to be swimming in an area to the left of the boat. Here's your sign. Hey puff....you are being heard and many folks agree with you. Some people just never accept responsibility for themselves nor accept when someone else makes bad decision. They and in this case... the family has to blame someone else. So sad.

Are you STUPID? He was charged with BWI and Paid a $500 fine and I surely would hope that his daugther wasn't drinking since she was only 12 at the time. No one saw the boat and where it was traveling only the two women and only one lived to tell about it! It is a VERY sad situation for both families!!

Why do you say the women where drug addicts? Do you have proof of this? This is a terrible accident. I do not believe anyone would run over someone with their 12 year old daughter in the boat if he was truly not drunk. So he did it accidentally. Yes, Mr. Harrison was indeed charged with BWI and yes he did pay a $500 fine. However....the judge did in fact say that alcohol was not the CAUSE of the accident. The accident "would not have happened" had the two grown women in their mature years not been swimming in the middle of the lake. Widgets point regarding the daughter is that even another person (no matter what age)was not drinking and also did not see anyone in the water. There were 4 individuals involved in the accident that day, not just the two swimmers. And is was proven and even confirmed by the other swimmer in the preliminary trial and her own written statements, and the final court hearing that they were swimming too far out in the water. No....widgets wonder is not stupid, but you sure aren't to smart or knowledgeable about what really happened.
