My heart goes out to the family that lost their loved one. Thou shall not judge. I'm sure you're closet is full of skeleton's. I'm not sure if you are aware of accidents happening. You are one of those who think you are perfect. Kevin Harrison is a kind good hearted man. He would give the shirt off of his back to someone in need.
I Hope you think twice about the things you say.

Really Kevin Harrison is a king good hearted man???? Let me tell something about him...After he killed her while he was severly drunk he went back to her and would not out her in the boat....He drug her to a point on the lake laid her lifeless body on the ground and took off so he could hide his cooler of alcohol.....He is not a kind hearted man....What kind of a kind hearted man would have his child in a boat with him while he was drunk.???? I have thought more than twice about what I say about Kevin Harrison....He deserves everything that is coming to him.....The only person in his situation that I feel sorry for is that child....

Yes, Kevin has done something so horrible, however, why is it up to any one of us to Judge him or anyone else for that matter. Kevin has to account for all of his actions when he meets face to face with the Almighty, not you, not me, not anyone else. Of all of you that are slamming Kevin, remember a sin is a sin, no matter how small or large and we all are accountable for our sins. For the one of you that is free of sin, let you cast the first stone. Have you ever kept the change that was wrongly given to you, have you never snuck a piece of candy that did not belong to you or drank to excess or slandered another person, or ran over a possum or racoon in the road? Sin is Sin, there is not any gray area! Read the 10 Commandments sometime(for those of you that don't believe, you better start believing!) and then start slamming someone.

Kevin fucked up, nothing new in Marceline. Get over it. His daughter is in school with my child, and seems to be a great kid. His other daughter turned out fine, as have many of the rest of us. Let's don't pretend that our daddies, uncles, husbands, brothers, or even us haven't hung with the likes of Kevin or Kenny. Doretta is great, but we all know that the problems between her and kenny started long before all this. An innocent woman died, and for that he should be punished. Let's not all get up on moral high horses though. I know for a fact, that some of you aren't much better. Gossip can kill a person just as quick. Linn county isn't full of saints, I assure you. While you're sitting on your bar stool at the Outback, Helm St, Cattlemans, Northside, Tall Pauls, The O.K., ect. try not to judge the others sitting next to you. One sin is no better than the other. God bless to both the Harrison family and the victims family. And, on a side note, GO TIGERS!!!!!

Wow, I left Marceline long, long ago and I knew Kevin back in High school. Marceline like many small towns is full of people that feel they have little else to do but drink. I remember Kevin was a heavy drinker even in high school 30 years ago, and I would have serious doubt if someone told me he is likely not an alcoholic now.

I'm not trying to be judgemental here, I remember alcohol was a problem for most ALL of us back then, Kevin seemed little different than many of the others I knew in school, it's too bad that alcohol has taken him down this path and led him to this.

If I recall he married a gal named Mary years ago, I wonder if they are still together or did alcohol destroy that too?

Kevin is a good man with a huge heart. He has always been kind to me and my family. He like most all of us, have made mistakes in our lives. Some of us make bigger mistakes than others. Judge not, for you will also be judged. This boating accident was just that,AN ACCIDENT.I feel for both of the families affected by this accident. Both familes are in the healing process.

Here is something that maybe you should know about this case; The woman that was killed in the accident was a board of director of the very lake in which she was swimming across. She had also been told by the security of the lake and fellow members in a board meeting to stop swimming across the lake. She and her friend, Brenda chose not to abide by the requests made of them.

So it is not just Kevin's fault that this horrible accident happened. Maybe just maybe before all of you who have judged a man for his past faults should know all the facts before writing such horrible things.

This is exactly my point, you are being judgemental on his past actions. Thirty years ago, come one. Kevin provides for his family, his wife who is a upstanding woman, mother and wife; his two younger daugthers (which by the way he has custody of).How can any of you judge a man on his past without even looking at his present?

I agree with you on this, any one of us could have made the same mistake. Especially since the woman was swimming past where she was told not to be. It was a horrible, HORRIBLE ACCIDENT that has effected both of the families to a degree in which none of them will be ever able to forget.

First of all, where did you go to school to learn sentence structure??? Secondly, do you really think you can fool people with dap, when it is so easy to figure out that you are Paula Dye, also known as Paula Grabel, Paula Burris, Paula Schmitt. As far as the weapon charges go.....how bogus. You set the poor man up for financial gain. The charges were dropped because you were a liar. Too bad that you did not make it clear what you have in your closet. All your children by different men are now with their dads. And you, so deceptive....you are on probation for driving while intoxicated and without a license. Then there is the whole credit card fraud issue. Oh but you can point the finger at someone else, you might want to take that index finger and make a u-turn with it and point at yoursself. To bad for you....you did not get the man or the money. HA!

Actually TMR if you read my post more carefully you'll see I'm really NOT being judgemental at all, I don't know if alcohol played a part in the accident or not for sure. I wasn't there so I don't know absolutely. But I would guess someone does.

And as was said maybe this swimmer was swimming in a place she shouldn't have been. What I'm meaning to say is that I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF alcohol played a part, as I simply remember drinking caused alot of pain for many of the folks in Marceline when I was there attending school. Alot of kids DIED from drunk driving accidents many of whom were my friends. So again MAYBE alcohol didn't have anything to do with THIS boating accident and maybe Kevin is NOT an alcoholic.

But IF he isn't he is lucky that he has beaten a disease I witnessed in so many others that starting drinking when in high school. That's really all I meant to say.So really I'm judging the very potentially fatal (for some) affects of alcohol and NOT Kevin perse. For the record, he seemed like an ok guy when I knew him all those years ago, just one that liked to drink (like so many of us)at a pretty early age.
