What's the story with Dr. Kimberly Farry?

I have 2 children. My oldest was deliveried by dr. Hunter at st. Joes which i was very pleased with him. My 2nd child was deliveried by christy and dr. Farry. I was pleased with them also. Dr. Farry also tied my tubes. I have always liked her and always will. She is a good dr. I would go to her again if i could have more children.

I had two children, both where delivered threw dr farrys office she did not deliver either one but she saw me on my visits, I also lost a son on christmas day and that happened with a doctor in elkins people love him i felt like he let me down and cost me my son. But you asked why all the negativity with dr farry, About the time of my first childs birth dr farry lost a few babies and I was scared to death to let her touch me, But then like you i started asking alot of people alot of questions, and turns out many of the babies who where lost where high risk pregnancys and the cost of a babies life is very hard on everyone. But in buckhannon when something like this happens then everyone tells the story and everyone adds onto it. Yes she is a doctor, she is human, and sometimes things go wrong with pregnancys. We cannot say why this baby lives and the next one dies, or this baby is normal and this one is not, Birth is a complex miracle that no matter what happens sometimes you loose a baby. But for the most part babies are healthy. And as for dr farry I can no longer have children but i still go to her office for my appointments, and I have no complaints. And to give credit where it is due nursing and PA's are amazing people as well if it had not been for a well trained nurse I would have died when I began to hemorage after my child was born,(the doctor was in another room delivering another baby) I only had a nurse to help and Thanks to her I am still alive today to enjoy my children. So many thanks to Dr Farry, All her mid wives and The many nurses of St josephs hospital.

well my opinion n truth is i hve a sister that lost her child due to dr farrys so called MISTAKES u got an unborn child in ur hands theres no room for mistakes fuck that she was bleeding heavily and that so cald dr sent her home she went back was leaking fluid got sent home again not even 2 days later went back got sent home went to clarksburg to er and she miscarried bled and lost all the babys fluid n her baby at 8 months suffocated. thats the same as murder if ya ask me

dayum, that is f*cked up... i would be hella pissed. This adds to the many horror stories i heard.

Yeah that's what was done to me went to my appt. 4x's told her something was wrong and 3x's straight she sent me back home then finally on my last appt. there I finally got them to check and when they did the ultrasound they had to send me to Morgantown because there was only 25% of fluid around my daughter. I was in Morgantown 10 days when I went into labor and had to have a c-section and Morgantown told my family that if my daughter made it through the nite they'd do everything they could to save her. Well she made it through the nite and Morgantown did absolutely nothing, they had my daughter in an incubator in the room next to the nursery. So as long as your rich the Doctor's will help you any way they can. Dr. Farry needs to go back to school. The Doctor's in morgantown need to learn compassion and to follow through with what they tell family's.

ok.....I have been seeing Dr. Farry for 10 years. I was pregnant with our first and was having twins. I NEVER saw Farry and the only Midwife that knows whats she's talking about is Kathy. I went to the hospital for severe stomach pain at 23 weeks pregnant. I was told by her midwife Kristy that I was having bladder spasms and they ordered to have a catheter inserted. I DID NOT have an exam to check for dialation, the nurses blew 3 veins because they did't know how to draw blood (i'm an easy stick and can get blood taken from literally any vein), Farry never came to check on me, and Kristy told me I was out of her relm of knowledge because I was having twins!!!!! And she even left to go to mass!!!!!!! Kathy came on shit and was called to come in and check on me after the night nurse put the band on me correctly and started picking up contractions, Kathy was there in 20 minutes and I gave birth 15 minutes later to our oldest daughter who I am sad to say passed away a couple minutes later and 3 minutes after her I gave birth to our second girl who I thriving up at Ruby in the wonderful hands of the NICU team. 5 minutes after giving birth Farry shows up and says to me infront of my mother and husband "if you think that was painful just wait until you give birth to healthy full term babies". The comment makes me sick. No doctor has the right to say that to a patient no matter the circumstance. I was in SO much pain with them and for her to tell me i didn't experience real childbirth!!!!! She is a good woman doctor but her and her staff has NO RIGHT to be birthing babies!!!!!!! They have yet to schedule my followup appointment and said they would call me but never have, I gave birth on April 5th. I had to have an emergency d&c 4 weeks ago and almost died because I was losing so much blood from half of a placenta that was left in. I have since switched doctors. Dr. Gibson in Weston did my D&C and she is an amazing doctor, she came and talked to be before the surgery twice to help calm my nerves and came and checked on me 3 times after, 2 being the night after surgery and 1 before discharge, her partner Dr. Cormier I have seen just to talk and he is also amazing and very nice, and specialized in high risk pregnancies which I am now considered and have ove 30 years specializing in high risk and multiple births and Dr. Niam is the other doctor in the practice and he is very highly recommending and fantastic!!!!!! they are my doctors now. and you also see one of them, no midwives or nurses, you see your doctors at every appointment!!!!!! and that makes me very very happy. They see all your test results and every ultrasound!!!!!! Please DO NOT go to Farry! Go to someone who cares and knows what their doing.

. Susan sorry about your little girl. Farry was my dr. also and my little girl died also. She had the nerve to tell me that I could have another baby to replace her. No I didn't ever get that chance I had to have a total hestorecmoy a year later. It was all her fault, had to go to a dr. in elkins to fix her screw up that made me motherless. No one needs to be butchered by her anymore... I tell everyone I met to stay away from her if they want thier baby to live. Again I'm so sorry for your loss.
so sorry ladies for your losses. sounds like mrs ferry is kinda cold hearted speaking like she did to you two after the loss of your children. then cant even clean you up properly to make sure of no infections. my goodness leaving in 1/2 of a placenta? i even checked and hand checked my horses placenta after she foaled. so my goodness that is very poor care from a medical staff. perhaps as some one else mentioned she really does have way too many patients. perhaps she should have none. god bless you ladies.

any docotr relying on nurses and mid wives ect. to do her job should be second guessed. i would ask her how many active pregnancies she is caring for at a time. then rethink my decision. any woman who is pregnant and there is ANY type of fluid leaking from her is an emergency in my opinon and should be treated as such.
