Carl is a caring and giving individual and a fair and honest man. If he rammed someones car he had good reason to do so. I would hope with his unblemished record in the community he would get probation rather than jail. I support him 100 per cent. I also hope that just because he committed a crime he is still able to maintain his part time judge job. He is innocent until they find him guilty.

I wonder if the damages and fine charges are going to amount to 890? Maybe they can work something out and call it even.. lol Sometimes people let their anger get the best of them. Poor Carl Simmons, hopefully next time he just writes an eviction notice.

Maybe he could give them 6 months free rent and utilities. I am sure his Honor Carl will be fair with them.

Well, everyone makes mistakes. I know as a Justice of the Peace Carl has helped a lot of people and given a lot of breaks to those that especially were first time offenders. If he apologizes and makes amends with the two men maybe they will drop the charges and all can move on. You know he is an older gentleman and probobly just lost it for a few minutes. The tropers really don't give a sht who you are or your status in life and they did their job so no faviritism there. I understand he is very remorseful and losing control of the car may have been do to a medical condition rather than an intentional act.

Hi there

This judge realizes that even the best of folks make mistakes. Over the years he has encountered several cases of moralistic people that "lost it" at one point or another and gave them a break. It happens to the best of us. I'm sure he wishes he could go back and do it all different(like we all do from time to time)but there's no going back. Judges, police officers, correction officers and teachers are all just people too- they are going to screw up just like everyone else.

Well, I heard again today that he had some type of medical problem that caused him to ram his tenants car. He was attempting to park near his house and something happened. Don't really know if this is true or false but Carl should have the benefit of the doubt. Even a judge is entitled to his day in court. Lets not judhe him let justice takes its course.

Yes, the poor upright and just man! Well lets look at the facts.......he was suffering from a medical problem called intoxication! He was arguing with his tenants as they owed him money and were attempting to leave, he tried to prevent them from leaving by actually ramming their vehicle..... What kind of intelligence is this???? If he is not medically fit to avoid a car ramming, perhaps he should step down from his holier than thou bench! Guilty until proven innocent but plenty of people are removed from the almighty power while the investigation occurrs! If he is allowed to continue then I think Teacher Skelly should be placed back at school.....after all, everyone loses it sometimes! Ridiculous!

"CrackHouse" you could probably be good friends with anyone who is also smelly, ignorant, and inbred. PS- you should learn from your parents, trying using some birth control.

He was not arrested for drunk driving so don.t add things that are untrue. I believe the accident was not his fault as well, they pulled in front of him. Sounds like you have it in for Carl. Did you ever appear before him? You sound very angry.
