Why do you defend you paying a greater percentage of your income in taxes than Fortune 500 companies do? And then, you blame the country's problems on the poor. What a bizarre view.
At least Big Oil paid 9% taxes. What did DumBama's buddy in GE pay in taxes? Oh..... that's right, GE paid nothing in taxes. I guess being DumBama's jobs guy comes with a lot of perks.:-0

I blame democrats marxists liberals et.al for stealing from me and giving it to the so called poor. The poor do not work for me they sit on their ass and ask the government to steal and cut them in on a percentage. No one getting eraned income credit because they failed to practice birth control benefits me in any way.
There is no need for the federal or state gocernments to spend the way they do. Medicaid should be abolished. Medicare should be eliminated. Social security eliminated. No more hand outs.
I agree with eliminating Medicare & Social Security especially because many people believe that Social Security is an earned right-that is, they believe they are entitled to receive Social Security benefits because they have paid Social Security taxes. However, in Flemming v. Nestor (1960), the Supreme Court ruled that workers have no legal right to Social Security: Congress can cut or eliminate Social Security benefits at any time regardless of a worker's contributions.

Right! However, these neolibs are not interested in creating more for more people. What they want to do is divide up what everybody has.

I agree with eliminating government waste especially because many people believe government waste is an earned right-that is, they believe they are entitled to receive taxpayer paid benefits because they receive taxes paid from the middle class and the rich.
Workers have no legal right to SS after years of paying withholding from taxpayer paychecks and matching government man-dated contributions from employers. So Flemming v. Nestor was the start of the government's raiding of the Social Security fund ?
The government hacks left the fund alone, where would it be now ? And what did the government spend those funds on over the years ? Probably need a whole bunch of statistical charts to crunch and confuse to try and find the answer... Are you considered self employed ?

you sound like a Pseudo Liberal thats against self reliance at least true Conservatives are for the Idea of ending Social Security & Medicare.

Congressional Budget Office projects that Ryan’s Medicare plan would raise seniors’ out-of-pocket expenses by $6,500 per year.

What if we do nothing? How much will out-of-pocket expenses increase then? If OBLAMA CARE is not repealed, how much will they increase? I just got a letter from my Medicare Supplement Insurance Company today advising me that my monthly premium would be increasing to $207.00 per month.
This is not the first increase that I have suffered. There have been several. However, just 3 or 4 years ago, the premuim was $79.00 per month. And here these NEOLIBS said prices would go down under OBAMA CARE.

And what if we do nothing? Is it not better to increase out-of-pocket expenses than be forced to end the program, or borrow more money we can't repay?

The clear solution (or near solution) is to double employees contributions towards the program. Let middle-class workers understand what these social utopias actually cost instead of depending on the wealthy to pay the bill. If we want government healthcare, then let's pay for it, although, many would object. And this is why politicians won't offer this solution.

Avert Financial Crisis:

Averting financial crisis demands complying with USA Labor Law, The Constitution, and demands of Natural Law: what Mother Nature, God, or Whatever Power decreed to be the reality of the real world, democracy, capitalism, the US Constitution, and free, fair, and affordable commerce and common sense.

Demanding every corporation, farmer, business, outsourcer sweatshop, and nonprofit, tax-exempt, organization and Church; markets the cost in the wholesale and retail price of his or her product and service; of every worker, consumer, and taxpayer's wages (union contract), investment and independent business profit. This enables every worker, consumer, and taxpayer to pay healthcare insurance premium or pay healthcare provider. Pay ALL taxes and pay for every product and service they use for life. With money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit. This enables every parent to educate, love, nurse, nurture, discipline, protect, and provide; for every child (job) they conceive. And fund schools, infrastructure, local and national security, government services, and etc.; with money derived from wages, investment profit, and independent business profit.

No, I would prefer that we pressure abled bodied people to take responsibility for themselves and work. That's why welfare reform was such a success until the dictator got in.

If you promote irresponsibility, don't be surprised when you have more irresponsible people.

If we can't afford the entitlement programs, what do you do? Nothing and no one should feel entitled to "free" government money.

You want insurance, buy some... You want to eat, work.... Seniors or not, we can't afford to leave things the way they are.

just eliminate Social Security then I can keep my money then since the Supreme Court ruled that workers have no legal right to Social Security: Congress can cut or eliminate Social Security benefits at any time regardless of a worker's contributions instead of doubling employees contributions do like the SCOTUS said congress can do reduce Social Security then since its a proven Ponzi Scheme.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aries

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
