I used to love when Chris Ritoch was the "Emergency Management Specialist" in Sweet Springs. The sight of him with that "walkie talkie" in his hand, looking up at the sky, impressing everyone with his coolness. The sight of him walking around during community events with that "walkie talkie" in hand, looking all serious, hearing him say "10-4" like he was actually, really talking to someone gave us such a feeling of safety, security and a sense that everything was gonna be allright because "Chris is on the job".

This is an interesting, but quite inflammatory thing to say. If I was on my 2-way, I was most likely talking to City Hall. Emergency Management IS a serious job, and I enjoyed diong it as a service to the Community. If you don't have anything nice to say, please keep it to yourself. If you would like to help out, become a volunteer and serve your community, rather than criticize it's organizations.

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
