Everyone, what does all this mudd slinging have to do with Christopher? I keep going back and forth between sites hoping that I can find people that really are interesting in keeping what happened to Christopher from happening to another child. Instead everytime I come on several of these forums its more name calling. I'm truly amazed by the amount of energy spent on name calling as opposed to real ideas of protecting children. If anyone is interesting in links that I've found to protect children, or links out there that tell you the legistlation in their state - please let me know. I'd be happy to share. Also if your interested in holding an escape school program for your community - go to www.escapeschool.com
I've got lots of information for anyone that's interested in doing something besides fighting with each other.

Debbie I need you to call me about the issues we spoke about.I had a meeting with children services and have alot to start on.Call me
Sounds great April! Will give you a call. I am glad you are staying focused and getting things done. You have been so passionate from the very start and I respect your intentions, unlike some who claim to be helping the Barrios family. Yes, I'll help in any way I can. Remembering Christopher and keeping his Memory alive is the primary thing. I wish we all felt this way. Some of the trash on here is just ridiculous. I'm not going to single anyone out, but some people are obviously just posting to amuse themselves -the good thing is, It is keeping this forum and Christopher's name on top of these forums! I guess we've got to take the good from the bad. LOL
I'll be in touch soon April!

<quoted text>Look lady I dont know you dont want to know you,but let me tell you a lttle something.I am a recovery agent.I own my own company if you dont know what that is I repo cars.I take crap off people like you everyday so you dont bother me.The day Christopher went missing I got upset. So the next day I shut my whole company down.I loaded the fourwheelers and went to the trailier park he lived in.I did this for 6 days.Ipicked ticks off me and was ate up by bugs from walking inthe woods and swamps. When I came home at night I didn't sleep because I tried to think about were I could look next. The day Christhopher was found I decided to try and change the laws.I have been doing it since then with THE JUSTICE FOR CHRISTOPHER FOUNDATION.I decided that I wanted to do stuff for Christopher by helping other children so I left the foundation.Paula myself and another dear friend continue to do that to this day.All in Christopher's name so please do not tell me that is an injustice to him.
Although I have always wanted more coverage of this child's horrific story, I honestly think we can do without the input from Bethesda, Maryland. I try not to get involved when all this garbage begins on here but I just wanted to say that this woman ( whom I've never actually met in person) has ALWAYS been dedicated to finding justice for Christopher and his family since DAY ONE! Her heart has ALWAYS been in the right place when it comes to the Barrios family. I live right here in Brunswick Ga and sadly I have seen, firsthand, heartless and selfish people trying to exploit this family after this heartbreaking tragedy. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am so appalled !!! I have also seen others "trying" to get justice but not accomplishing very much. I have seen many with good intentions and I thank all the others who are staying with us and trying, but at least April is getting something done as far as honoring this angels memory. I totally respect her for that. Living right her in Brunswick does give me some advantage as I see and know for a fact who is doing what and how justice is being sought after. Let me tell you I honestly see that April is still just as dedicated and passionate about this cause as she was back in March when this whole nightmare began. She knows the family firsthand and has been there for some of the rough times. Hopefully she has been a big comfort to this family unlike some of you who have nothing better to do than argue about things. Even after all the mudslinging and nasty comments from others, she is still pushing forward and that's a lot more than I can say for some of you. Keep up the good work April. I am sure little Christopher is smiling down on you from above. My prayers will be forever with this family and to those who are honestly making a difference. Thanks April!

BARRIOS UPDATE: THE LATEST STORY PRINTED IN THE BRUNSWICK NEWS TODAY 7/13/07:

Barrios defendant wants speedy trial
Fri, Jul 13, 2007
The lawyer representing Donald Dale, charged with concealing a death and tampering with evidence in the March slaying of 6-year-old Christopher Barrios Jr., is seeking to have his client exonerated at an early trial.

John Wetzler, the Brunswick attorney appointed to represent Dale, filed a request Thursday in Glynn County Superior Court for a speedy trial.

Under the request, Dale would have to be brought to trial within a year. No trial date has been set.

Three members of one family – George Edenfield, his mother Peggy Edenfield and father David Edenfield, all of 121 Horseshoe Lane in the Canal Road Mobile Home Park – have been charged with sexually molesting and murdering Christopher on March 8.

Because each faces the death penalty, pretrial procedures could delay the start of their trials for a year or more

I feel exactly as you do. This was a very special child taken way too soon. Now I pray that justice is served so his family can find some peace.

I agree! March will be a year since our little Christopher was taken in such a horrible way. Now its time for the monsters to pay for there deeds. The edenfields time of punishment will come.

I see that Georgia started up the executions. There is still hope that Christopher will get justice.

May God continue to Bless the entire family of Christopher.
