I am the older sister of April Schultz & I for starters want to say that she is from Randleman, Michael Woods is not, he is from Kentucky. The mother of Michael Woods whom had the other child in her custody is not in North Carolina, she too is a resident of Kentucky & came to Georgia after all of this happened. The other child is now back in the custody of his father Jason Schultz where he needs to be. April & Michael were running from the law in N.C. and that is why they were in FL. He was arrested in FL. but let go just the week or two prior to this happening. Their car did break down, but they didn't stop there b/c of it or to get it repaired. They were running from town to town and playing on whoever's sympathy that would listen. She may be my sister and for that I love her, however, she deserves to be punished, she needs longterm mental care and as for Michael Woods, he deserves to be under the jail. I am angry and sad all in one. Christopher Teague is my nephew that never had a chance. May God rest his little soul. He will be our guardian angel now & forever.

Yes, I too know April VERY well. She's nothing but a follower and will do anything she is told to do by any man! She used me and my family to get everything she had for Christopher, which I didn't mind giving her for that baby who had nothing. Then, when I stopped giving, she vannished. I never got to meet lil Christopher and it breaks my heart. But Preston, Aprils 16 month old was a gem and I love him. He is doing better now, had lost a lot of weight but is getting better I am told.
April and Michael should be greatful the cops found out about all this before I did. They will both rot and burn!

I used to be real good friends with Mike until about one year ago when he left his wife to be back with April. Ever since he left I have done my best to make sure that his wife and son Caleb, as well as Caleb's brother Nick (Mike's step son) has had everything they need seeings how he left them with nothing. In my opinion Caleb and Nick are better off without Mike. Now, I have noticed that all the attention is on Mike, but what about April she's just as much at fault, and her "track record" isn't much better. Child Protective Services have already been all over April because of her drug abuse problem during her pregnancy with Preston (her first son). Alright now I have to confess that both of these two are pretty good people but they need to get there heads on straight. I am not trying to say what they did is justified because I think what they did is about as low as it gets but other then their parenting they are good people. I just thought you'll might like to hear an unbiased opinion from a former freind of their's.

You may have went to school with a Michael Woods, however, the Michael Woods that my sister was running around with is not from NC, he is from KY and that is where she ran up with his low life discusting butt. He weasled his way into the home of a married woman and well don't get me started, however I promise I am a 31 year old married woman myself and I have the facts straight, my sister and her husband were living in KY when my sister ran up on Michael and then ran off with him--he, his brother, momma, aunts, uncles, etc. all live in KY. Let me get everyones facts straight Michael Wood moved to Kentucky in 2005 and that is when we got married and he has another son and he always made sure he was taken care of whether he had to beg, steal, or borrow he always took care of his family dont get me wrong Mike had his faults that is why we split up but let me tell everyone something they are making April out to be an angel and Mike to be the bad guy well April isnt perfect and neither is Mike but when Mike had visitation with our son he was taken care of it takes alot to be parents and maybe it wasnt in the cards for them but they were always quick to pawn her son off on someone so they could do what ever they wanted yes Mike is a criminal and that is why we arent together but they were together and April is as much to blame as Mike so dont be quick to point the finger just at Mike it also needs to be pointed at April and everyone is going by what the papers read i know he would never intentionally hurt a child

Thank you Babygirl, Just because an item shows up with gory details people tend to believe all of it. Mike couldn't hold a regular job, so he did what he had to, to make sure his family was taken care of. Yes he would beg borrow and steal to accomplish this. His chlidren always came first. The chlidren ate first, got new clothes first, insured there was always diapers and a way to doctors. He may not have time for adults, but for children there was always time. His love of children was unrelenting. Strike a child in anger? NoWay. Not like another father mentioned earlier, who struk his son so hard, his marks were still visible during and after the visit to the hospital and police. And they gave that little boy back to the father. This baby had an illness and the autopsy reports will prove this. So before you go condeming someone, do some homework. I don't know April that well, so I can't comment on her, but babygirl is right, April is as much apart of this whole bad situation.

The both of you are correct, April is partially responsible, she is responsible for running around the country with that low life, not thinking of anyone, unfortunately not even herself. About his love of children, spare me please. He didn't love April, he didn't love that child, nor did he love his other child, had he had any love for anyone, including himself, a child would not be dead and he nor April would be sitting in jail. I am her sister, and I do love her, am I angry, hell yes, do I blame him 100%, no, but I have all of the inside facts, and I can assure you, none of this would have happened if he would not have weasled his self into a married woman's life.

I took Mike out to hustle every nite to feed Preston. She sat at my house refusing to work n she couldnt go hustle cuz her coke problem was so bad she couldnt keep her hands out her babys milk money. Bitch was so coked out shed do a line then pick her nose and lick her finger for the taste. mike aint no angel, but ol girl copped a plea n threw all the blame on mike. Oh I forgot to mention the fact that she was preggers when she left here, not that it stopped her from gettin high for one second. maybe the reason that the baby WOULDNT eat has something to do with his momma starting him off with a cocain habit since conception.
