A Tribute To Christopher

Thanks for all of the info, Caring Mom.
We, maybe moreso being moms...our hearts are all conected in this.

I had my husband pick up a few things for me the other day at WalMart. I asked him to let our littlest one pick out a costume.
I came home later, and he had picked out & was wearing a Spiderman costume.
Here was another 'lump in the troat' moment...as you are familiar with..oh, I'm familiar with those.

I did eventually have to 'get help' over this...
As silly as this sounds, it was suggested that he 'mentally' be brought with us out having a good time trick or treating tonight.

So we will...

We will 'proverbially' have him with us in his own Spiderman costume, out having a great night with the other kids.(I know that sounds crazy)

My children went to a "Harvest Party" at a church tonight and the kids dressed up. There was a little boy who looked so much like Christopher it just took my breath away... and he was wearing a spiderman costume.

Same thing happened once when I brought my two youngest to the beach...my hand to God, there was such a similarity.
God in Heaven is letting us know he's okay,(((Brunswick Girl))

God looked down at the vessal of his child, smiled a glorious smile and erased all fear.
"Come take my hand,your life will began new"."No more tears,no more minutes of foul, I have come from heaven, my beautiful child ,and soon we will return never again to return, to this evilness now" ."Your destinies arrived". With a glorious light and warmth surpassed, HE enfolded him in his arms. Like whispers on the wings, of snow white doves HIS words seeped in and his child was surrounded in love.HIS chariot awaited, HIS angels stood near, watching evil continue unknown there fate to come, stood hovering near. God covered his child in soft, pearl white shroud,while planting a seed, in those who comitted a sin against the angel he held. "Vengence is mine, Have no doubt in your devilish minds, soon you will face me for your actions of now"!HIS child slept on, no memeories of his fate, his soul filled with peace. His soft eyes awoke as he whispered through dreams of his loved ones. "I will love you forever, dont concentrate on the deeds of those filled with hate. For I was always safe. My body was there but a vessal in its self, my soul was free as soon as God heard me". "He wrapped me in his arms ,angels surrounded me, I looked to the light and saw heavens golden gates"."Let my memeories feel you,remember me and smile for I am soaring above you and see you still cry". Though we all cry, our hearts hurt for you

Christopher will be my hero for as long as I live.

Look forward to the day that I eventually make it to heaven and can hug him.

I have also had to seek advise and help to deal with his loss. The last book I picked up, helped me the most;
"When bad things happen to good people".

If you need help coping with the loss of someone, this book is great. Written by Harold S. Kushner.

It was given to me by someone who lost her husband to cancer.

One of the things that came to my head when this tragedy happened, is that now Mike and Paula will never know what would had become of Christopher? Who would he had become? Could he had grown up to be our first racially mixed President, African American and Hispanic.

I guess now we will never know what Christopher would had become. Only the Lord has that answer. I guess we just know that he was a most beautiful child.

May God continue to Bless the entire family of Christopher Michael Barrios Jr.

Such a beautiful post. God has a plan and I pray this angels death will not be in vain. Pray for justice to prevail. RIP sweet angel

Sweet Christopher Barrios should have never died the way he did. No child should. Perhaps his death could convince the prosecutors and lawmakers to take the kind of effective action that will ensure sex offenders are punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Rest in Peace sweetheart. We will manage the best we know how. I knew that this day was going to be really tough for us all. Never imagined that a year later, I would still feel so bad.

Your senseless and brutal death will never be forgotten. Maybe they will not face the death penalty here on earth, but they will sometime in the future face the Lord. There will be justice after all.

I will look forward to the day that I meet you in heaven. Along with You, there are quite a few other people that I will meet, The Lord being the first one.
