Investigation continues in Worrell murder

I honestly don't think the GBI will find who did it. From what I heard the CCSO deputy's messed up the crime scene. I belive my sorce to. I hope they find out who killed her and they get what they deserve.

They don't know what they're doing in the CCSO. They arrested 2 men yesterday that are completely innocent and they're on trial for this murder. CCSO is crooked. A new sherriff is needed!

Just received this official statement:
2 Arrested for “Conspiracy to Commit Murder” in Doris Worrell homicide
Douglas- On Thursday, March 13, 2008,“Conspiracy to Commit Murder” warrants were issued for Glidden Humberto Rodriguez, 39 YOA, and Brandon Eugene Cage, 20 YOA, both of Douglas, in reference to the homicide of Doris Worrell. Both subjects were arrested in Coffee County by Coffee County Deputies on 3-13-08 and are in custody.
The warrants are the result of an on-going investigation being conducted by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and the GBI Douglas Office after Doris Worrell was shot and killed at Jon’s Sports Park, now known as The Fun Place, in Coffee County on September 20, 2006. At the time of the murder, Rodriguez was employed at Jon’s Sports Park.
The investigation is still on-going and remains in an active status; therefore no other details will be released at this time. If anyone has information pertaining to the investigation, please contact the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office or the GBI Douglas Office.

I believe they are inocent also coffee countys full of crooked cops these guys dont deserve this I even heard they passed lie detector test back in 2006 ! that should say something!

I think coffee count needs some help they screw up everything, how can you arrest 2 people that passed lie detectors test back in 2006 when they were questioned then if they did this why would it take so long to arrest them you know what I think the GBi srewed up so they are trying to lay the finger on the first people they can why not get her husband too! sounds like a good suspect!

I really never expected the CCSO to make an arrest because they ruined the crime scene. The CCSO is very crooked. We need to give the sheriff and some of his dectives the boot. They arrest people who haven't done anything and protect their drug dealers. It's strange after this past sheriff's election all the cops that had morals either quit or got fired. I think they arrested them guys because they needed to solve it before this years sheriff's election.

What did LE do at the scene? I've never heard about that.

If the CCSO is 'crooked' is the GBI also?, as they are running the show.
FYI Cage is Rodrigues brother-in-law.
I heard that the GBI took about 3 months after the event to call in the staff of Jon's Sports Center for fingerprint elimination!

I don't know if the GBI is crooked but I know for a fact the CCSO is. I know alot of employees and former employees. I have heard the same thing from all of them. CCSO is CROOKED..

Well i know them both personally and i believe without a doubt that they had nothing to do with this. Hell the day they were arrested the arrested to others that had nothing at all to do with it except for they were related..does anyone know how many ppl they have actually arrested for this and let go.. i know of a few others..

i know for a fact that brandon cage and glidden rodriguez did'nt do it there my cousin's and glen is way to tender haerted to do it and brandon would'nt do it if his life depended on it the GBI just want to slove this case so the sheriff poe will look good and people will relect him.

I kno that brandon and glen had nothing to do with dis cuz brandon is my brother and glen is my brotherlaw cuz my brother cant not kill a crockroach that wlak on the wall and glen he wont kil a flea on his back but i sure that everyone in coffee county or around the county knows how crooked and devious are all the law enforcement is but like everyone say money talks in coffee county but if u dont have money your screwed and they know that there family does not have too much money "so they cant a good lawyer to win this case"

Glidden, his wife TJ and 3 of her brothers Brandon,Billy and another I dont know the name of.
TJ was released the following day as she only 'obstructed justice' after she (understandably) freaked out at her husbands arrest having just had a mis-carriage a few days earlier.
I believe that Billy & the other brother has been released...any one confirm this?

Everyone has currently been released with an exception of Glidden and Brandon.
Also, yes, what you have been told about Tj was correct.

God help them if they are innocent in Coffee County. Being innocent in Coffee County doesn't necessarily guarantee anything. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time and the "wrong race" is sometimes enough to convict. If Glidden and Brandon know anything at all, this would be the time to "cowboy up" and tell the truth regardless of who it implicated. Does anybody know if everyone connected to Jon's Sport Park was asked take a lie detector test?

I have become disgusted with Coffee County over these past 2 years and I will be glad when i finally move. I personally know Glidden and he is a great person. After 2 years of "investigation" that this happens during an election year. This seems fishy.
