Officers Bust Yuba City 2-House Pot Growing Operation

Why are people still growing so much marijuana. Our state law already let us grow enough for personal use. Don't be greedy now.

Officials seized 710 plants, growing equipment, a loaded .45-caliber hand gun and $2,345 in cash, the police report said.

Tori Stohlman, James Fletcher and Kyle Leonard were arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail. on charges of cultivating marijuana. Each was released on $50,000 bond, Hudson said.

I remember when the asians got busted the bail were from minimum of $400,000 to no bail. These three are white and their bail amount is $50,000. Please explain? What happen to the conspiracy charge? Possession charges? Manufacture for sale charges? Only cultivating?

Nepotism. It happens. Its not fair nor right, but its hard to change when there are people in power who are in denial of their racism. What can you do?

So, I suppose anything that differs from just about anything, your going to attribute that to a race issue.

we'll what about conspiracy charges? Any crime that is committed with two or more people should have a conspiracy charges to increase the bail amount. It happens to all the pot growers, why not this one?

When a mexican, an asian or a black person did it, they put out all the charges they can put on them to they won't be able to be bailed out. Then, when the case comes by they dropped all of it. These three WHITE people got caught with stealing power (note: a felony), cultivation (note: over 100 plants), a gun (note: a weapon), cash (note: evidence of sales), yet all these are found, the bail is only at $50,000. All the pot growers who were found to have a weapon along with the crime is a flight risk. You tried to tell me this is an exception?

Seriously though, what if you got a traffic ticket and judge fines you $1000 while the others did the same thing and got fined $300? How would you feel?

My limited knowledge of the criminal justice system tells me that this may be a case of "this is the first time they have been caught." Although it may not seem fair to some people, when you have been involved in criminal activity--or have a history of continued contact with the law--you may end up with a higher bail or no bail.

This may also be a case of: "It's not what you know, but who you know." Money does talk! Not only here in America, anywhere.

Regardless of the bail amount being lower than others. These three should be charged with conspiracy, because a crime has committed with two or more people. Law is law, conspiracy charge is the amount of people involve, not on what the crime is.
