This is just tragic. He is a wonderful man, who would help anyone who needed it. I only can only hope that he's alive and well. The entire family is just sick with worry, and the searchers are out there every day looking for him. Anyone that can help look for him should try to find the time to do so.

This is my dad and he is an amazing man!! Please pray for his safe return and for my mom. We all love him and want him home with us. Thank you to all the searchers and for all the prayers, don't give up on him, he is unlike any other.

Did he have any health problems that would have caused him to wander off? Where was his car found. I have some time on my hands and would like to search for him. Any info would be great. Thanks Mark

Desiree, I emailed Tim, still no response!:) Had to go right to the top! Keep your head up, I will be back on Friday after work, but had to put in some hours this week. Keep them sandwiches coming to keep the energy up of those that need to press on! Many are praying for his safe return!

Thank you all for the help with the search for our dad. Everyone has bin great. Its bin four days that he has bin missing and still no trace. We still need to find him. If you can help in any way Please DO.Thank you all again for all the suport and help.

Desiree, I had it announced on a couple St. Cloud radio stations that we are looking for volunteers as many that come to the area on the weekends come from the St. Cloud area. I also requested the Morrison County Record to put it on their website (it's too late to print it) and they have been pretty good about stuff like that in the past. I will be up after work this afternoon and Mark is coming as well. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL HE IS FOUND! Hang in there and god bless your family and all the efforts!

Delaine I know you are sick with worry, and I'm very sorry. Thank you to all the searchers who have given their all to help find Pete. Please don't give up until he is found. Pete is a very kind man who wouldn't hurt a flea, I can only hope and pray that he'll be found safe and sound.

Achermann Family,
Many prayers from Windom are being sent your way in hopes for a safe return of Pete. My mom has kept me updated on the events and since distance prevents us from being there in person we will continue to keep the entire family in our thoughts and prayers. I grew up as a foster child to pete, and I am so grateful for his love and the family's love throughout the years.

Papa is the greatest man I have ever known, I and like so many others- are very lucky to know him...

He is so important to soooo many people. if you have any time on your hands, please come help us. if you are too far away, if you know anyone in the area, please have them come help... please pray regardless that we find him safe and alive.

none of this makes sense to anybody... we dont know why he would be out there... but we NEED to find him and we need as much help as we can get...

Achermann Family, Mark's nephew that is a police officer in Atlanta told me that the family can petition the Governor for the assitance of the National Guard. Just another option to think about. I thought the sheriff's dept had to, but apparently not! Give Tim a call! We will be back again this weekend if need be! Hang in there!

Many thoughts and prayers are being sent for your family! I will be there when possible! I have also requested people to start prayer chains for your family and have been trying to get the word out to everyone who I run into.

I Just found out tonight seeing his picture in a
grocery store. I met Mr Achermann last summer.
He was alert, very inteligent and showed no sign at all of not have a clear mind. He is extremely
inteligent, kind and Reminded me of Heidi's grandfather that lived in Switzerland. I bought
bread him and worked and had a stand by the farmers market. I am so sorry. I pray To God they find him. I would hate to think someone would be so cruel as do to harm to him.

Yes there will be a organized search on Saturday!!!! We will be starting @ 9:00 a.m. We start searching everyday at 9:00 a.m. Any help we can get is greatly appricated.
