Louisiana will be in dire straights if the democrats get their way and move their attack on the oil industry forward. Obama's new budget contains such large tax increases on the oil industry that according to Don Briggs (LA Oil and Gas Association President) "The 1980 oil bust will look like a day at the park!". Cities, like ours, that depend on oil service companies for our tax base will be in a bind!!! Please call your local representatives and senators to voice your opinion.
