Worst Ghetto parts of Brooklyn ?

Enough with all this nonsense, you are all acting like Brooklyn is some kind of ghetto hell-hole nightmare when really it's nothing compared to other places in the USA. I had to move out of more expensive neighborhoods because of financial issues and I've been living in East Flatbush for a year now and I have to drive through East NY every so often. It's not pretty and there is crime but it really doesnt compare to camden in new jersey, baltimore, st. louis, and all these other high crime cities. Yeah brooklyn has a high crime rate but you have to look at these things in a per capita basis, per capita, somewhere like camden or baltimore, hell probably even newark is much worse.

Also I'm a white guy in a very black neighborhood (like I said East Flatbush) and so far there hasn't been any hostility or angry looks...in fact people have been friendly and respectful. You act scared and wimpy people will treat you like dirt. You show you're proud of who you are and where you live, study the map of the area so you dont walk around getting lost... people are gonna show you more respect.

Most parts of Baltimore are worse than even the most rundown projects of NYC

While all of the areas previously mentioned are "bad" such as Bushwick, ENY, Brownsville, parts of Coney island, red Hook (below 50th st and below 5th Ave)...does anyone remember what Brooklyn USED to Look like in the eatly 70's--entire areas were burned out, vacant, filled with garbage, fires weekly, apartments rampent with rats, pre war buildings--MUCH of those buildings have been torn down or "remodeled". So the LOOK of brooklyn has actually improved in most areas--however---gangs, crime, and lack of services is as bad or worse than ever. And Ye-s-Canarsie is now a very dangerous place.

NEW LOTS AVE--Number 3 IRT train....hasd ALWAYS bee na hellhole..except lined along the train rpoute in the 60';s and 70's were tenemants and burned out buildings..a lot have been replaced by 'wonderful" geovernment projects. i used to live in the city and then i moved to queens and now i live in brooklyn with my girl.the funny thing is for the past 3 years ive seen aot of whites moveing all over brookln.so for people to say all brooklyn is bad i think is a lie because in white so call community .more things happen there and more drug are used its just that they hide it better .there keep wat they do in the dark and they come out like there better .not for nothing what about white kids that kill there parents and sniff paint cans or the ones who shoot up schools and movie theatre.see this is the thing we blame each other rather then work with each other ,every race has it's issues.we have the bad,good and the others,

i see alot of people have issues with brooklyn ,wat are u doing to make it better .to be real with brooklyn it won't be new york .if u go any where on the map they know brooklyn ,if u dont like it move.thats all ,love it or leave it

Bed-Stuy, Bushick, Brownsville, East N.Y, Flatbush: every two weeks there is a new shooting in the paper, mostly by teenagers.

Well me myself i am 9 years old i am from and live in Bronx,NYC the South.And i wonder why are you looking for bad part's cause that's the straight up hood!!! Just know that if you aren't born in the hood like i was it's a 99.9% that you won't survive it.You will be running back to your city so fast. But my mom is from Brooklyn and my dad is from Jamaica,Queen's,NYC but Brooklyn,Bronx,Queen's and Staten Island better believe there all the hood but..... Some real ghetto part's of Brooklyn are mostly everywhere cause i know that the Bronx is all torn down cause i grew up in the Bronx like i said but...... I'm telling you it's THE HOOD
