Monday night my disabled (severe chronic COPD) Mother's condo was hit directly by a tornado. The roof was torn off causing the entire ceiling to cave in allowing the entire evenings downpour into the unit, also causing the middle floor ceiling to cave in. Water is on every floor, and needless to say, massive damages has ocurred. Well, the following monring at 7 am I was there and the condo association people could not reach David Cameron of CAMCO, and rain very heavy rain was coming again that night. Well, today, 3 days after the tornado, he shows up and rips the condo association person who had the guts to say, "we need that roof covered before tonight, nobody can reach David Cameron". He also went into my MOm's unit and berated the restoratoion people about "who authorized and is paying for this work". What the hell does he expect, my Mom to stay in the place for 3 days until he's good and ready to "stop by"? By thew way, you should call and get his voice mail, he closes by stating "if this isn't an emergency you will be assessed $75". What a tool. You should see the pictures. I will be reporting him to every regulatory agency I can think of.

I attended my first meeting and it was so ridiculous. They charged another $5.00 dollars for association fees. For what, where do that money going. They are so unprofessional. I wish I had known before I purchased the unit. We really need to get them out of there.

PLEASE SHOW UP AT THE NEXT CONDO ASSOC MEETING FOR FREEDOM SQUARE!(Tuesday July 13, 6:30 p.m. regular place.) WE NEED TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES AND TAKE ANY ACTION NECESSARY.

To see how your property will look with Camco managing it. Drive through Sunset Homes in Waukesha. The best thing to do is fire them and get a new company. Ours is ruined and no one will handle us.

I totally agree with all of you ... when you call Brian he is always out of the Office and on Lunch ... I dont know whether he works at all or not ... these are the most frustrating people you can ever deal with ...

One Question though - How can we have the Camco Management fired ... how should we proceed in order to have them removed from being the Management Company of the HOA ?

i would assume you would need to contact the board and see what action would need to be done. or if you are serious about it, research other management companies and bring them to the board members as suggestions. we havent had any problems yet but we dont agree with the amount of money we spend on fees and the little we get for it. a lot of the problem is the lack of people actually paying their fees or balances due that is putting us in the hole.

I am a Homeowner @ Sunset Homes, have you ever looked at the delinquencies list??? We pay those dues for maintaining the property and it looks this way cause our association is $80,000 in the red. Maybe if all the dead beat homeowners here would pay there fees we could afford new things like (roofs)!!!! Jim - I bet you are one of those non-paying Homeowners!!!! The way the property looks has nothing to do with Camco, it has everything to do with the homeowners living their and not paying fees. If that happened maybe we would have the money to make some changes. Until then if your not part of the solution your part of the problem!!!

Just and FYI your association is the one charging the extra $5.00 not camco. Do you even look at the financial reports you are sent monthly!! It's all there in black & white. Unfortunatly, if your a homeowner that lives in a complex that has $50,000 or more in delinquencies you have no money!!!! Maybe the one you should be harping on are the ones that don't pay there fees!

Dear Mr Sunset home owner. I have lived here since 1978. Ever since this company has taken over, this place has went down hill. Maybe your one of the scumbags cronies. I am not behind on my dues.We had water meters put in, which was suppose to be the cure all. We had no money for repairs. Now we are suppose to pay $500 on a 2 year old snow bill.Yes alot of people are behind on there dues, but this didn't happen until they kept bringing people to the attorney at $ 500 a pop and making them even more behind. I have watched them try or run people out of their home. Long story short is that Brian has stolen money from this complex for years and the maintenance should have been done all along. Now with the way things are I cant even sell my place. It is the managements company to manage. This should not have happened in the first place.

I also have a Raintree condo. I have lived here over five years. My dogs are more professional than Camco is! I send my payments without service. Furthermore, after reminder calls I still have not recieved a key I paid for. The employee at Camco proceeded to yell at me as if I was to blame!!!!

OK- EVERYONE CONCURS- THEY ARE A JOKE. In EVERY sense of the work- unprofessional, unethical, incompetent.

So what can we do as a group to oust them or bring it to the publics attention on a grander scale??

Anyone with experience on process to consider??

This is to funny. The company needs to be shut down. I used to work for them & always tried my best to help the owners out to best of my knowledge but when you have management like them that are never in the office or never take/return calls what do you except people to do. I hope people stand up to this company cause there are so many better management companies out. I think a office of monkeys could do better then Camco!!!
