Hopefully the store will learn its lesson and not giving credit to somebody just because she's some famous person's mom.

A few years ago Oprah went to Paris and stopped by a very high scale and exclusive boutique but the boutique was closed because it had been rented out for the day by someone else. Oprah threw a fit and demanded that she be allowed to shop at the store and kept asking, "Do you know who I am?" over and over. The store owner, to her credit, refused to admit Oprah. The store owner had a previous obligation to the person who rented out the store for the day and she stuck to that obligation. Oprah was too spoiled and selfish to take that into consideration. Oprah may pretend to be a kind and caring person but she does nothing out of good will for others, all she cares about is herself and getting good publicity for herself so she can make even more money.

KINGPIN wrote: Oprah will pay it off for her. For sure she loves her mother and she is not a millionaire tight wad. But why did the store loan her mother all that money? Mabe they thought Oprah would pay it off anyway. Oprah doesn't pay for her own clothes. Her staff is well known for going into local stores, "buying clothes" to use on the show, using them, and then returning the clothes.

If you recall, oprah also used the race card and went on a national smear campaign against Hermes claiming they would not let her in becaise she was black. Her show was about "her "crash" monent".

Oprah is worthless, and now it's evident that her mother is exactly the same.

Don't you know the people with the most money are the ones that usually get everything for free? I don't have any clue why this is news - must have been a slow day.

Deadbeats, it isn’t fair, when I gotta to pay some else’s share. Deadbeats, you decide, someone always looking for another free ride. Deadbeats, it’s always the same, I’ve got to play this game.
PAY THE BILL LADY.

Why do these nuts spend $150,000 on clothes? It would take most families 2-3 years to make that much money. What a wasteful display of ego.

yes, Oprah is a hypocrite and she does not care about others as much as you think. Everything she does is out of good publicity. lot of the stuff on her show are free and given by sponsor as promotion. She is cheap and pathetic!
