UPDATE: Lost dog, Bennington woman back together

Full story: Bennington Banner

She's tiny, but apparently she's tough. We're talking about Leslie, the 4 3/4-pound Yorkshire Terrier who went missing after a car crash in Williamstown on the morning of Sept.

Just wanted to say that it was nice to read a follow up to the news story. In reading the comments from last week, one could garner that the dog had been found. What wonderful news!
Given the amount of reader count, maybe the Banner should prioritize following up on news stories. People do track news stories and it would serve the readership to offer this follow thru. Obviously every story can't be tracked but just pick the major ones every once in a while and do the follow up story.
Again, great follow up and thanks.

Nice to know the Williamstown Police Department is so vigilant against drivers like this poor woman. I'm curious what a "marked lanes violation" is? Depending on why Jane may have fallen asleep would have somewhat of an impact on a ticket.. was she drowsed by the sun beating in the car or was she partying all night? Big difference. I'm thinking if this was someone from the Theater festival NO tickets would have been given out. I AM GLAD the dog was found!!! It sent goosebumps up my arms to read it. From a dog owner who drives her own "Miss and Mister Daisy" around!

Im very happy for Jane and her doggie....but, front page news???
3 days now and the SAME HEADLINES keep showing up on the "Bennington Banner" website! Why is it when I buy the newspaper, each day has new headlines, stories & news....but when I log onto their site I get the same stories day after day?
Maybe they cant afford to hire someone to do the updates?
UGH!

No, there isn't a "big difference". If you're unfit to drive then you shouldn't be driving, period. Whether it is because you're drunk, drowsy, or on meds shouldn't matter.

Congradulations Jane on getting your little dog home where she belongs.

I am however sorry I was not able to be there to help look for her, As I wanted to but I couldn't be there for medical reasons.

I am happy that a passing motorist cared enough to make the call that brought lesily home. It is always good to have a happy ending to a sad story..

Now if MA would drop any and all citations would be an even happier story for Jane. Yet I sure just having her best friend back is what makes her happest of all... Again congradulations and good luck in the future.....

I am so happy for Mrs. Cooper. What a coincidence that Helen Biondo found the dog. She is a wonderful person as well.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
