I too found this post by accident....WOW did it bring back memories. Thank you everyone for sharing your stories about the terrific times of the 70's. I was the bar maid at the Lollypop around 1972-74. Never really worked....it was like always being at a party. After work on Fridays my friends and I would walk over to second floor for some heavy duty dancing....God do I miss those wonderful times. I lived on Drake Ave by Pelham Road....who remembers the deli on Drake Ave? Great place to get the after school snacks. Hope to hear from some of you.

You guys must have been in college while I was in high school. The years you mention, 72-74 I was working right near the Main St Cinema and the Lollypop in Jack's Army and Navy Store. If I remember correctly, it was right smack inbetween both places, wasn't it?

I don't remember the boutique. I remember Jack's, the Cinema and the Tuxedo place going towards Maple Avenue.

Do you remember the deli across the street from Jacks? I want to say it was Carouso's, but think I may be wrong. We used to get a 16oz coke and buttered wedge for $0.25.

It was owned by Pat Salerno whose son played football with BS and worked in the store. Real nice family.
