You still can't answer why Cody told several conflicting stories to the law, Leslie and her family, his own friends and family and to his lawyer. That's why it was an open and shut deal because he's guilty without a doubt.
Plus his lawyer does care about one thing, reputation. They care about wins and losses because that's what potential clients look at when hiring a defense attorney. Also, be glad the jury didn't recommend the death penalty, his attorney at least kept him alive thus far.

WOW. Seems Iknow is a darn fine witness to A PLETHORA of incidents surrounding Chopper, Jace, and the Baby Killer!!! Don't you have a job? And just because we know he's a Baby Killer doesn't mean we're atheists.(I mean DUH even 11 jurors knew that!) And just because you say Jesus loves you doesn't mean you're a Christian.

The jury didn't give him life without parole because 1 juror wanted to give him parole and the others knew that they didn't want a hung jury or a mistrial so they decided to come to a unanimous decision. Like the Baby Killer will survive in prison for the next 38.5 years. If another inmate doesn't get him, the health issues certainly will!

Actually merrily knows quite a bit. The jury was able to stay and talk to the prosecutors after the verdict was read if they chose to. Those of us sitting on the right side of the courtroom got to hear exactly what the jury thought of the monster afterwards. Let's just say the trial could have been over the first day

I belong here in more ways than you know. First off, I work and pay taxes here, which pretty much means I can go where I please. And then there's the whole issues of just because you don't know who I am or what I know or how much of it I am involved in, doesn't mean that I don't belong here nor that I'm not part of this case nor does it mean I am not privy to information surrounding this case and yes, you guessed right...even you. I, sweetheart, am right exactly where I belong. I am close enough to it to care deeply and smart enough to stay objective about it. I'm also smart enough to know that about 98% of what you post on here is flat out BS, even about your lawyer, the trial, the case, and your "I was present for this" claims on a variety of subjects. Anyone on here besides you and your "Laura" person can tell this.

I've tried to sit here and look at this from your perspective but I just don't care anymore. You show exactly who and what you are every time you post in here. Filled with so much anger and hate and so much self-righteousness! You should just finally call the Baby Killer for what he is, quit lying to yourself, and make him take responsibility for what he's done instead of this constant non-factual, subjective diarrhea of the mouth/fingertips that you continue to have.

Two innocent children were harmed by him and that's just the ones that were BAD enough for us to hear about and that were medically treated! Don't you know what they say about abusers? I'm certain there were more women and children he likely abused in one form or another.

I do understand why you can't be objective though. Even though the Burgess' will live the remainder of their lives missing and loving Little Jace from earth, knowing it was their mistakes and poor judgement that inevitably led to his death, you still have your Baby Killer. He's alive, even if in prison. That's a lot more than Jace got thanks to your Baby Killer.

I also understand how hard it must be for you to live out the rest of your life not admitting to your part. Not acknowledging that he's GUILTY even by a jury of his peers. Not taking responsibility for the fact that you made mistakes yourself. You want to get on here and bad mouth someone's character and hang her for her every mistake...look at your own! It was YOUR mistakes and misgivings that created this monster! It was YOUR bad parenting that molded and shaped his warped mind! IKnow and Laura, tell them what it is. Other inmates and family members know it so surely you both do too. It will do you good to write it and acknowledge it and will hopefully provide you with acceptance and closure.

Well even if they don't, those of us close to this case hope you will tell us what he's saying to give the burgess family some sense of closure. They have had to live for almost 2 years with no confession or explanation. Regardless of how absurd it might be.

Cody has stated that he killed Jace because he claims Leslie was seeing other men behind his back. It was to get even.

1st of all you're a complete moron and a liar. I know this case very well. I work for DHS and everything you have stated is a lie. Allicia asked her lawyer for both she and Cody to take a polygraph but her lawyer said no, reason being, they're not submissible in court. Second, records show you were at the hospital one time that is it. And yes, there was bruising on Isabella's ears, the staff at the hospital photographed them when she came in. Also, if you had spoke to anyone with the department as you claim, that information would be in the case files. Which it is not.But what is, is that bith the DA and DHS knew and believe Cody injured Isabella. Especially since he told 2 different stories in 1 night to Payne County. They only reason he wasn't charged with anything is because of the threats made against Allicia. Also, the dr. that performed the surgery on Isabella stated that Allicia could not have inflicted the injuries on the child. By the way, there is NO record of your claims that DHS was called and came to your home for any of those accusations. Everything you have stated is completely fabricated. Next time before you start telling some insane story you might want to show some sort of documented evidence to back it up. Another thing I'll point out, IF Allicia had hurt Isabella, then why is it that she hasn't ever been hurt in that manner since and why is it none of her other 3 children have ever sustained any injuries of any kind? Hmmm, makes you think huh? If he is so innocent why are there not 1 not 2 but 5 different statments that he gave about what happened to Isabella?
