This offender has a rap sheet a mile long. He stalked my granddaughter and threatened other family memebers when he was only 16 y/o. He was sent to Rader Institute for that and many other crimes including drug dealing, possession of firearms and who knows what else when he was a juvenile. Is he going to have to kill someone before he is put away for good????

Melvin has anger problems and maybe if that girl wouldnt have opened the door for her then maybe this situation could have been avoided. She knew his situation and she wanted him locked up. My brother could have been killed over a silly situation that could have been avoided. And to everybody that has something negative to say, your not innocent yoursef!!!

I have an anger problem too. At punks like this who think they don't have to adhere to the law and who think others don't have the right to live in peace from they're bu**sh**. I'm real angry at someone who forces their way into ANYONE elses home because they "have an anger problem" then assaults them. I'm angry at anyone who thinks that the situation could have been avoided if she would have just given into his will.

Get over it already. The guy may have been a good guy at one time in his life but he chose his direction as surely as anyone else does. It is his choice and his choice alone on how he treats others. Why is that not being reported? Is it easier just to plaster his photo up and show that "here is another black kid assualting a woman and in confrontation with the police."? I'm shocked at the media for publishing false elements of the story, but then again what more can you expect from the media in Oklahoma. What sells and gets attention? Once again, Melvin is FAR FROM AN ANGEL, however lets not condemn him off of the lies and misrepresentations from what boils down to be a jealous girlfriend. Another young black man caught up with the wrong girl. Can anyone explain why there was a SWAT team for one 20 year old kid with no weapon and no hostages? Very well said! And if the girlfriend didnt post all over her myspace that shes sleeping with alot of other men then all of this could have been AVOIDED! This is exactly why myspace should be abolished!

To the grandmother of Brittnay, let me tell you about your whore bithch granddaughter, she had to be run off by his carzy anut and told not to show her face at their house again, or she would be hurt. Brittany continued to communcate with Melvin until (he) finally told her to stop calling him. And to the BITCH, that got this all stated ERIN KELLEY she would not "stop" running behind that Mandingo Dick, until she had a baby by him and reaped the benefits of anything he could give her, ie; coach bags & shoes, diamond earrings, and the best home furnishing that money could buy, so she got she what she deserved.
