Jones, 21, of Kenosha was driving a car with passenger Raymond Mims, 18, of Kenosha when police attempted a traffic stop in the 5400 block of 23rd Avenue. According to Kenosha Police, the car appeared to be stopping and then took off, driving faster than 70 mph northbound on 23rd Avenue. The car hit the curb at 45th Street, went airborne and landed in a field behind Holy Rosary Church. After a brief foot chase, both men were caught and arrested. Jones was arrested for felony fleeing and several traffic violations, and Mims was ticketed for underage drinking and obstructing."
