We need a rally to support our right what the ban is saying is that people do not have the right to get high, I'm not saying I'm for drugs but America was based on giving people liberty and this ban is unconstitutional and restricts citizens of the united states libertys away from them

Yes, prescription drugs can be dangerous, no doubt. These drugs, along with illicit drugs like cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine can lead to overdose, but more often than not they simply turn the addict into a mindless zombie who will do anything to get their next fix. They steal from their families, are in and out of jail, and for the most part, they are far from being productive members of society.

Having been around this stuff for quite awhile now, I can say from personal experience that the only thing close was the Oxycontin epidimic that swept through here a few years ago. People are DYING, and not just one or two, but one or two a month, and those are the ones we know about.

People who overdose on this crap are dangerous to their families and the people that have to treat them. And even if they recover short-term, who knows what the long-term effects are.

My suggestion to you is to educate yourself before you start spouting off a bunch of nonsense.

a girl i know went from having a family, nice apartment and basically a nice life to someone who we dont even recognize anymore in less than a month because of bath salts. She no longer cares if she has her kids or not, kicked her husband out (after 7 years of marriage) so she could hang out with boys who will give her bath salts, got kicked out of her apartment and has went through at least 10 men and committed credit card fraud (thats the only crime we know of for sure) in her quest for bath salts... she didnt act like this when she was just doing pain pills and pot so bath salts are much much worse than narcotics... get your facts straight at least.

Who blamed anybody? All we said was this stuff should be illegal, and while technically most of it already is under the federal analog drug statute, soon it will be absolutely illegal under Tennessee law. Yes, people will still get it and/or other drugs, but our kids won't be able to walk into the 7-11 and buy it.

Along with liberty comes responsibility. Just because you can legally sell this crap doesn't mean you should. Personally I would like to see people excercising their liberty to choose where they spend their money and boycotting the businesses that sell this shit.

First of all... You didnt say anything about coke or meth.. you said the following:
Mossanobi wrote:

So I said when she did pain pills which is what YOU said. I agree with you that meth/coke is worse and people will do terrible things for those drugs as well.. BUT, this wasnt about that.. this was in response to your exact quote.

Furthermore, Yes, she was weak, she messed up badly but just like meth, bath salts have chemicals in them that can cause one to be addicted after just one use and thats what happened. My point was that bath salts are terrible drugs that can cause a person who is using them to do nothing but try to get the next high, even if it means loosing her family, children and home.

And lastly, I have no problem with anyone who sells things to party with in a store or against anyone who smokes a joint or even takes a pain pill (if they have pain). I am good friends with the owner of one such shop and also WORKED in another one at one time.. this post had nothing to do with that subject.. I was only stating what i observed of one person who is on bath salts. There was no pointing of fingers at anyone but the girl who let bath salts ruin her life.. again, reminding you of my intent of my post: bath salts are much worse than prescription pain pills.

Moss,
I would agree with your theory if I didn't have to pay for the aftermath. Either you do not pay taxes, or are to stupid to figure out your are paying for most of the care of these idiots who take abuse any form of drugs.

I say let them use it, just don't call 911 when they are in the floor dying. I'm so sick of people that cannot control themselves and mooch off everyone who has the ability to go to work every day and try their best to do the right thing.

Personal freedom is a tenant this county was built upon, what is lost is the requirement of personal responsibility for ones actions.

Big problems with these drugs. Since they are "not for human consumption" and here are so many different forms, most people don't know the proper dosage. THis is the cause of so many ODs from it.

Also if you take the right dosage, there is a 60% chance you will have a bad experience.

Smoke pot, even cocaine is much safer.

According to a drugs inc special last nite, these drugs are made in China (originated in Israel) and they have no idea what they will do to you, seriously. The havent even tested them. They Just "make em". Also, according to an officer in kentucky, they can send in samples to test and even tho it might be packaged the same, no two packages contain the same ingredients, which means no one really knows what the heck is in the incense/bath salts. Bad Bad stuff y'all!

@The_Proud Fan - On Nat geo, they have been running a new series called Drugs, Inc. last night was designer drugs. If you have on-demand, it might be on already. Last nite's show was new. Very interesting watch.

Israel is where they were made first. China now makes the majority of them.

The website for the show is here: http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel...

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
