THIS IS A JOKE

Big talk, little action. Somebody got paid off. Judge Marx will see these two again, after they screwed up more people's lives.
Sleep tight, Judge. |
It would've made me feel better if they got killed on a commuter train.

Martin is a real idiot. Lady your son was not an angel. He was drunk and high! He could have been the one racing and standing before the judge as oppose to his friends. Then you would have been pleading for your son to get the sentence his friends received. The sentence could not have been any better for the parties involved.

Trust me, they will slip up in those 15 years and spend alot more than a year behind bars because of it.

Not to mention set to an arbitrary norm. As I have said before, I could ride a unicycle around a skyscraper at .08, whilst some wench might start bouncing off the guardrails, just thinking of a drink. It is but a cash garnering robbery, by the glorified mall security guards with the heightened sense of entitlement, and their cronies, lawyers and judges. There was a time that there was discretion...but now there are just abuse of power c0c ~a~roches, arbitrarily punishing some with an unenforceable law. Because as we all know, on a Fri/Sat night, no one after 2am is out and about running on milk and cookies. :) |

I give them each a year before they screw up.

I disagree with the judge. Even if Martin's son was complicit, it should not have lessened their crime. Just as if the police shoot and kill one of two bank robbers, the surviving bank robber would be charged with murder as well as bank robbery.

a deal was reached. it was unintentional. it was an accident. a fair plea was made.

It's verdicts like this one that cause people to lose all faith in the criminal justice system.

Curious if the homeowners where the underage drinking occurred have been charged in this case. They certainly share a good percentage of the responsibility and should be charged accordingly.

The victim was not an innocent bystander but someone who made a choice to get into the car his friend was dring under the influence. His mother feels let down, but did she ever teach him over the dangers of friends driving drunk. Anyways these boys made a BIG mistake and their lives have been ruined! I am sure they have learned a lesson here!

Dear Mother,
I do feel your pain, it is a terible event to lose a child, but please do realize something that you are ignoring and that is your son was JUST as GUILTY as they are, he was no angel, being drunk and smoking weed, so unfortunately he was on the losing end of the stick, i wonder, if your child had been the one driving and had lived, would you be pushing for him to get life in jail, i just wonder..NOT..and thats the ABSOLUTE truth. |
not bad judge judy. solid post. it was a fair deal.
I think the punishment was fair. The boy that died was NOT a innocent victim and he choose to drink and smoke pot and that makes him just as reasponsiable as the other two persons. The Martin boy was NOT in any condition to drive nor were the others.
I am sorry for the family loss, but the punisnment is fair. I have know people on probation and it is NOT a walk in the park. I am sorry your son died, but you can not feel he was totally innocent in this. Your son will always be with you and he is in alot better place then any of us are. I think for once the justice system was FAIR, |
Stop it mom, this dude was just as drunk and high and his dunb arse got in the car wit them. Do you think your son would want his friends to get 15 years in jail?? I think not because he was just as guilty
Lets hope this judge gives everything this deal...I'm not sure how much puss their lawyer licked, but its not common for a judge to do this.
The mother of this boy is forgetting one HUGE thing...HER SON WAS NOT A INNOCENT BYSTANDER.
I am glad these 2 are off to the county jail, and they will do there time day for day all 365 days. 15 years probation is worse then a prision sentence becasue you screw up and your back in jail.. Ms.Martin i am sorry for your loss, but your son was just as guilty as the other 2. If he knew his friends were stoned, he should of stayed stright to drive home. This sentence is very fair, and it all was becasue 3 boys CHOOSE to smoke pot and drink.. |

CONDONE DRUNKS AND Ban SMOKERS..OH MY GOD.....I am ASTOUNDED..........ID..S
