Looking at the bylaws of two of these "attachments" to the chamber clearly show a disregard for the Government, taxpayer, future businesses, and chamber members alike.
Another example not mentioned above, there are no term limits for officers and members of a particular subgroup. That seems very unhealthy for the betterment of our business community.
Kevin Smith came and talked to me about the Stellar Community program and asked very specific questions about what our needs were to grow our business. This simple act went a long way to renewing our support for the chamber and the future attracting of business to Clinton County.
As I mentioned before, no one has contacted us since his termination. We read about it in the Times. It was curious that the quotes were from these same "power brokers" that caused our small group to look back and reflect on their allegiance to the "good of the order".
Final words of warning, after our latest group gathering, to everyone on here is simply this: the two puppets and the various puppet masters could do considerable harm to your business character and future expansion if you try to butt heads with them.

Well there is a way to get back at them. The public ought to hold them accountable. Get the county to quit handing them funds untill they start producing same as the city. I know it won't happen with this administration but this where you can do something. No new jobs no funds period. No new buisness no funds period. You want to take a trip to japan pay for it. You get a new business to come here than you will get reimbersed period.
