A slaughter house would benifit this area more then an educational farm any day, after all a slaughterhouse is and educational process. The most important process in food is the slaugher. What's going on in Woodstock because people are against this slaughter house idea with a vengance? WTF people what happened to "Local" food in VT, everybody wants to have it local, but not from your back yard. I am a culinary school graduate and Chef in this area and its is complete nonsence on the part of the public that is against the slaughterhouse. I do not think woodstock people have been shown the proper benifits a slaughterhouse would have for a small area, the men and women whom could raise thier own food and have it processed local alone would do good. But lets not forget The house may be in woodstock, but it does not exclude men and women from the towns surrownding woodstock. The fact there is a move to prevent a slaughterhouse from coming to our area shows me people dont care about where their food comes from, and as a chef who's passion is food it make's no sense? The decision should not be base on morals or ethics, rather pure fact and good judgement that will benifit the community.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
