The only time I can remember them not becoming infected was when I was on a course of penicillin for acne. I'd suggest keeping penicillin around and take them at the first sign of your tonsils becoming infected. My son is 13yo, same syndrome like you. And followed by dizziness and headache for 3-4 days. Antibodies help a lot. But the lost of 3-4 school days drive him nuts. I wonder if yours have headaches related to tonsillitis? Appreciate if any remedy to share.

Try tea or coffee I berley had infected tonsils today! I drank tea and it was gone right after! Although it might not work for you if you have ALOT of that white stuff on them. I only had the white stuff on one of the tonsils it (the white stuff) was small. Or instead of coffee or tea drink some thing hot-like. Once again I bring up...this might not work for you but if you have only alitle bit of it it might work..it worked for me and my mother who had infected tonsils as a child, she had alot!!! She had to drink tea for FIVE YEARS because of her fear of surgery! It worked for me and for her! I hope this works for you!!

Oh, that's really bad. You could probably take antibiotics through a doctor's prescription like penicillin or amoxicillin. If you're allergic to the ones mentioned, your physician my prescribe something like clarithromycin or zithromax perhaps. The latter though has been linked o fatal heart-related adverse effects which you can read here: http://www.rotlaw.com/zithromax/ . If you don't want to be bothered by any tonsil infection, you could opt for tonsillectomy. Just discuss this with your doctor though.

Removing tonsils is not a best decision, especially you made a decision for others.Amoxcillin can help without any pain.

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from http://inhousegeneric.info about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas. I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.
