Very sad day for Alpha Public School, Greenwich Nursery School and Phillipsburg High School. I imagine when the rest of the names are released later, we will all sit in shock and disgust.

i am very disappointed in these adults that the students look up to. "it just goes to show that one bad decision can ruin the rest of your life"

kinda funny....
it's always the STUDENTS that are subject to "random drug testing" and it's always the STUDENTS lockers that are searched and the STUDENTS cars...
gee.... maybe the powers that be will wise up soon and include the teachers in their little searhes.
just think of what a shock it'll be to some people when they find out that some cops do drugs. but, oh, that's right...their exempt from drug testing too......

Once again I must say rough times brings out the desparation of people. The street value if these drugs are ridiculous and sadly, people trying to care for their families on a tight budget resort to easy cash. I don't agree with what they have done and justice should be brought to all of them, but it's just sad.

Just because they are selling them doesn't mean they are using - like I said these drugs have a high street value.

some of the names that have already come out and some that are still to come are not a shock. Its the same people that used drugs in high school and had issues with them in college. The shocking thing is that some of them were actually able to become teachers. They make teachers like me and most of the other who are good and care about kids look bad. I hope they get whats coming to them and that they don't get off because of who they are and who they know like many other pburg issues are handled!

selling, using, what is the difference.. they could be selling to your family or child! Let's remember that these teachers Are employed and have homes and families.. they receive a paycheck and have an income, they are not living on the street trying to survive,, however they are being negligent and greedy thinking that they don't have to practice anything they preach.. I don't care how small the involvement or if it's the "first time" they did it. these men and women made a choice, a choice they knew was not only illegal but unethical and immoral. for those of them who have childen, what would you say to them??

This is nothing to do with hard economic times or desperation, this is about looking the other way for years these people just didn’t start doing this, it’s been going on for years people know. It was just a matter of time. I just hope the accountability is there to make them all pay for what they have done. It is a big slap in the communities face, but a big bravo Zulu to the police departments for doing their taxpayers justice.

Just to clarify...02phsgrad, there were more teachers names on there than you realize. Jarrod Dech is a 4th grade teacher at Alpha Public School and Audrey Ulmer is a Pre-school teacher in Greenwich.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Sagittarius

Be careful about what you eat and drink today, my prancing Archer. Your body is in a sensitive state, so be well advised and steer clear of anything that might upset you, or to which you're sometimes allergic. Avoid anyone who's a one-man germ factory, in case a few bugs happen to jump out and over to you. Right now, you could do without it.
