Anyone check out the latest batch of bad apples?

http://theintermountain.com/page/content.deta...

They've started enforcing a new parking rule, which means a lot of families will no longer be able to enjoy Arden. Due to the new parking code,I won't be able to take my little girl up there because we have to park so far away from the areas that are safe and clean for her. All because a bunch of idiots want to go party and leave their trash all over the place.

Arden is a beautiful area. We have not gone there for years because of the partying and loud crowds. I always felt that it was a very unsafe place to go and that was 20 years ago. I have heard that the partying is even worse now.

The water at Arden is very unpredictable, it can be low and the rocks are not covered and within a very short time the water can rise chest high.

I'm not sure I understand you 100% on the Hippies part. Who are you referring to? I don't agree with your parking issues, as there are a few places that when the water is right, I enjoy taking my family. We don't party, we don't sit around up there listening to loud music or drinking or doing drugs. I know there are a lot of people up there who do party, but we stay away from them. It's just a shame that people like that ruin such a beautiful place for everyone.

It's just a shame that it's only recently that the police dept has been really patrolling the area quite well. Sadly, their main goal is to enforce the parking code, and while doing so they go ahead and hand out traffic ciations as well as underage drinking and things of that nature too. Perhaps maybe they should have posted no drinking signs years ago and spent more time out there patrolling when all the partying is going on and should have put an end to it before it even got this bad.

Pay no mind to The Hazer. He wants to be a metermaid when he grows up.

haha. Actually found that quite amusing. I think I read on here somewhere that he was an officer or something. Chances are my family probably knowshim or something, but who knows. Eh, sometimes he makes pretty good points, especially with smoking ban.

I don't understand why anyone would want to "party" in such a dangerous place. Another young man just lost his life this weekend. So sad.

Is it the places fault people get drunk and act like dumbasses? No. We lack personal responsibility in this world. I have been there many times in my life....still alive...a miricle? No, common sense.
