I cannot believe seat belt checks were done during the height of rush hour causing over a five mile back up and a thirty to forty minute delay in traffic. The morning commute is bad enough without added delays. I cannot imagine that this seatbelt check could not have been done a little later in the morning and still accomplished the same results.

once again more wasted man hours and causing people to be late too. hooray for sgt. gross . he wont say " sorry" even if he is wrong . let the 15% who dont buckle die . serves them right . why do all the rest have to suffer so Gross and his boys can stand on the side of the road and get paid. GO DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE WITH OUR TAX MONEY!!!

Totally bogus.

This has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with generating revenue.

It also stands to reason that this is an attempt to justify thier usefulness in a low crime area.
