Hello I am a 27 year old Mocha-skinned American...<LOL> that looks at the news to obtain my bits and pieces of information to keep me somewhat intact with the outside world of what I know to be real and true. To see things like the H1N1 being painted out to be a sort of pandemic rising, the Pych. at Ft. Hood....probably realizing the pain and misjustice of those soldiers, hearing their horrific stories of what they had to endure over in Iraq. I mean YES that gives no one the right to kill another, but have you seen some of those pictures of people who live in it everyday and the children (that dont strap themselves with bombs) that are wounded or even killed. We don't show that on footage on T.V. as a constant reminder of what REALLY goes on. It's sugar coated or given to us partially so we have to make our own guess and decipher. When are we going to wake up and not realize that there IS another way, not just the way of the infamous Government. "For the people, By the people" I shout!!!! I write this directly to you on your forum because hopefully from sister to sister you may relate directly to me, and of course anybody else who reads. I am one for the future because I was born in it, but I wont allow to be dumb-downed and dehumanized. There has to be a better way. Ms. Turner I would consider you the "middle woman" you are the barrier between what the head determines what we should hear and know, and what we know to be true. You give a good story in the end. All I can say is COMMON SENSE, and a lot of people (young and old) do not have it.
