I believe that the video will have a negative impact on the employee and if they were sleeping on the job then they should be dealt with. But what if the employee was between sites and rather than waste the taxpayer gas dollars in returning to the office to take her lunch, she pulled over and took her break between job related appointments?--(the vido only covered a short period of time). By any chance are you a state employee or the "alleged" sleeping beauty?

To save gas.... you now have to turn around and pass where you were just at..she had no intention of saving gas the only thing she was saving is the time not to work when she went back...DID SHE GET FIERED I HOPE?

tax payer wrote: its already hit the web WHERE? LINK? I don't leave home without my camera now. This is a great idea. Hey, did you hear the one about the State of Illinois employee? She was a "Day Care License Inspector". She would get up, go to the office, clock in. Then grab a state car, go get her hair and nails done, go grocery shopping, return home. Sleep or whatever until 4:30, be back to the office by 5:00 to clock out. NOT ONE inspection. The news channel followed and surveilled her for like a week. Fcuk em', I say. Let's fight back!!! Post the link.

And like I wrote in the comment section, in my state urinating in public falls under indecent exposure and would land one on the sex offender registry. I have GOT to learn to youtube one of these days. I do what you do too.

what wrote: <quoted text> I think that cops should start giving tickets to everyone, no matter how minor the offense. As a cop I know that I could go through two books a day or night thats being nice. People should leave things alone. These slugs will get whats coming. After reading these posts, my pen will be working overtime. The general fund could grow. Seat belts, cell phones ....etc can't wait. The cops I am talking about are the ones who are assigned to the contractors at the constuction sites on Fairfield Avenue. I could not be a cop and sleep on the job. Just imagine your picture plastered in the paper for all to see. The other side of the coin could be someone could kill you and no one would know about it. If you want to sleep and get paid for it,join the fire department.

What else is there to do in the middle of the night besides tilt your head back and relax? its not like you could go on calls, its an outside overtime job the contractor has to pay. and how can you sleep with jack hammers and dump trucks every second ..they are only there to assist in traffic if any and create a visual presence to deter speeding and theft..and i know when they are paving the cops are not having a fun time.

While I understand your frustration-- just how is it we know she works for DAS? And actually if it was her lunch and she was between appointments she may well have been saving the state money-- just the time it would take to return the car, go to the office for her break and then return to the car is time. Finally, there is another posting on this web site which is addressing gross waste of state funds in that high level postions are given to friends of management under the heading of "Rell signs ethics reform bill into law." I mean the video addressed here was not of a high level, high paid employee and people seem to want to destroy her- yet the person mentioned in this other post (Rell signs ethics bill into law) makes more than a hundred thousand dollars a year and manages to make the system and the highest paying and most powerful jobs in it work for himself and his friends and family. Here's the thing, the worst wrong doers get to hide behind the human error of others while these same wrong doers knowling violate laws and rules while making certain they and their friends enjoy extra perks the rest of us will never know about unless we really pay attention.

Since you just film-- why comment on things you say you don't know about. If it were you I am pretty sure you would want to have the entire story known- Why not take your camera into the offices and see how many state employees make over 100k a year and then follow them around to see how they spend their time? If that was a DCF worker (and I am still not certain how you knew that) then she is on the low end of the pay scale. I just don't understand how it is that you can make a judgement and very honestly wonder if perhaps you have a personal issue with that department. I am waiting to know the whole story before I pass judgement on someone and just because jobs are tight it does not give you permission to be judge and jury-- if you just want to film then don't pass judgement and please make certain if you do pass judgement that you are accusing the right department.
