So you assume just because Ms. Kelly is black she is a convicted felon? Wow, what is this 1953? I can assure you that the State of Alabama runs background checks on every state employee every 5 years when they have to re-up their license. They would not grant someone a license if they were a felon.

ms. kelly is a convicted felon and she doesn't needs to be around children as a matter of fact. Call the principle he will tell you. bet u that.... I saw it in the paper about 4yrs ago....

ms kelly taught my child and was one of the sweetest, most loving teachers i've ever known. too bad u r an idiot or you would see this!

i never understood why we feel teachers should be held to a higher standard than the parents. as far as a teacher having a felony way i see it is that if its not something they would lose custody of thier kids for, its not affecting thier job and it doesnt affect the safety of our kids then its none of our concern.

Mrs.Kelly is a WONDERFUL woman. I have had her since I was in the 2nd grade and now I'm in the 7th grade with her as my Beta teacher. Just yesterday, we had a project in Beta and we had to tell about our past life. Well my dad died two years ago yesterday so I started getting emotional. I left the room crying. She was the first person to comfort me and to hold me until I stopped crying. She will ALWAYS be the best counselor/ Beta instructor I have EVER had. Just b/c she has a felony does NOT mean she should be stripped of her job. I hope you will all take this into consideration and feel regretful on what you have said about her.

You know she could've been young and dumb once a LONG time ago, just like other people i know in town, and could've learned a lesson from it!

The FACT is, your kids are LEARNING good things from her, and they LOVE her! Get over it! Not everyone who starts out on the wrong path stays on the wrong path!
