work there wrote: First off I'm thankful to still have a job! And I get so sick of hearing about the 10% pay cut! If you hate it that bad stay home and let some of the people around here that need to work come and provide for their families to the best of their abilities. As far as shutting the doors, I can almost promise you that the Fabrics (new) plant will not shut down. Thats the only plant Beaulieu has that makes the backing for carpets. If they shut it down and bought "outside" then the competiors (Shaw and MoHawk) would raise their prices sky high charging whatever they wanted to charge forcing the WHOLE Beaulieu company to shut down. As for the Fibers (old) plant, Beaulieu has a few plants that has the same processes as the Bridgeport plant so I can't comment on that. Thanks just wanted to put in my 2 cents. Take it however you like! Their not telling no one officially but it's a done deal the fabrics plant is gone I'm sorry but I think you should have as much notice as possible it's not right a lot of people at fibers knows and won't tell no one please pay your bills up its for real
