Kids these days spoiled and don't know how to work for nothing

Heard last week that some one is living in old national guard armory. I have seen some cars there at night and some one said that a council members son is staying there. Its the people of bridgeport who are having to keep them up and provide a place for them to live? Come on Bridgeport, wake up and call some one and get them out. Either that or we can all move over there and live off of the city. Sounds good to me. No light bill, no water bill,no rent. Hey I am all for it! How bout u?

Its Barry Hughes low life son and nasty wife. Barry should be ashamed of himself! He lives in that nice house and won't let his son live with him so he puts them up in the national armory! I would love to save on my house payment, free utility.. BARRY... WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US??????????

That's just not right!! I think if the city isn't going to do anything about it because Barry is behind this we need to do something. I believe chattanooga news would love this article!

the big deal is that the armory water and electricity is paid for by the city. The city gets the money for this from the taxpayers. So the taxpayers are supporting this person to live there, if this is true.

Barry's son got caught stealing out in King's Cove a few days ago

He is probably the one that has been breaking in storage units! It is a big deal. Barry is on the city council that doesn't mean his son can get away with living at the armory for free! My cousin is living w my aunt, can she come live there too?

Are you serious? The deal is that bridgeport armory is NOT a homeless shelter and if it was there are a few more people in town needing a home! I pay taxes as a Bridgeport citizen and will not pay for Barry Hughes to house his son and wife in a city owned building! Are their children with them there?

I got family that needs a place to live, can they go there too???

there are a lot of nice homes available for rent in bridgeport. Why don't they live in a house? I'm sure if a single mother with three children, taking care of a sick mother, can afford rent Barry can afford to come off some of that super pay he got and help his family. I resent having to pay for someone to live free when I'm barely making it myself. Shame on the City and the Council and Barry and Bubba. They all know better. Sort of like getting those big one time pay outs just in time for christmas. What about everyone else? We want some breaks too! Just because you work for the city you are not special. Use that paycheck to pay your bills. leave the pills at the drug store and do the right thing. Shame on you Bubba for letting this happen in our small town. You are not in office for the betterment of your family and friends. You were ELECTED by everyone for the betterment of the TOWN. Now , do the right thing. Grow up!

I wanna live in the depo or library than in armory! Who do I talk to about that & have the city pay for it? Let's just pop up tents at the gazebo.
