When I first went to work at Beaulieu, we had random drug testing and several rules to follow by. Now they have done away with the drug testing and let anyone by with anything (as long as you know someone higher on the food chain). People are getting off their hysters running to do a line or smoke something and jumping right back on. You got supervisors in training sleeping with technicians and everyone looks the other way. This place has gone to hell in a hand basket.

The point that I was making was about the trash that they are letting happen at Beaulieu. I don't know anyone who has commented but I will say this, I have seen more drugs in Beaulieu than I ever seen out on the street. Everytime I work someone is high, taking pills, selling pills, smoking, snorting. I have been looking for another job because honesty I can't stand to be around those types of people. Someone is going to get hurt by a hyster and then where would Beaulieu be. I will tell you where, with that new honesty policy of no drug test that gives the court system free reign to settle millions of dollars on whoever ends up getting hurt.

If you know or see someone doing or taking drugs then it would be your responsibility to report them before they hurt themselves or someone else. Talk to your supervisor or call the ethics hotline and report the users anonymously, the number is posted on the bulletin boards throughout the plant. Drug test are done on a requested basis as a cost saving measure before BLAST was implemented. As far as the supervisor in training sleeping with a technician, at the time, she was not a supervisor in training but a color clerk nor was she even married. I have been there umpteen years and believe me it has been going on since the start. Supervisors doing supervisors, supervisors doing employees, employees doing employees, even the highest ranking people doing employees. Some have been caught in the act at the plant. Its really no different than any other workplace.

I agree, I worked there at least 10 years ago, and it's always been going on. I also worked at Shaw, and it was going on there too. It's not just Beaulieu. I hate to open your eyes to an immoral world, but there are drugs everywhere, and there are people screwing around everywhere.

i think that what she did was wrong, unfaithful she was with a guy hello she was living with him, and the guy she had a affair with was, and the second time they decided to pick up where they lift off they both was married. I personal think that she is a homewrecker and this isn't the first time she has done this kinda of thing. She must think it is like giving out candy on halloween night. I think it's a shame that she is getting a promotion....well come to think about we all can guess how she got the promotion!!!!!!!!!O and by the way the double D's aren't that great from what i hear...

CONCERNED AND WORRIED
Virginia Beach, VA

Everyone has seen this happening at work for a long time. The things you all are saying about the employee and her married man everyone knows. My concern is for his wife and their children. What is going to happen to them, their home and their lives. My heart and prays go out to his family because they are the ones who are going to suffer overall. His wife was the one who was home with the children while all this going on. She thought that he was just an honest man going to work. Never did she think that her husband was screwing around. She is going to end up without a husband and the children without a home. The company should do something about this. They are suppling a place for people who seem to have no morals to carry on affairs instead of doing their jobs. Wives and children end up suffering because of this. Somethings GOD is meant to punish

Dont you think that before you write something, you should spell check it first. I know that some people arent all that smart but come on now. The computer does it for you.

The computer did spell check everything for me, not that I needed it. Maybe you should crawl back under the rock you came out of and bring your dictionary with you.
