I totally agree with the idea of revamping the area whenever possible. My husband and I were recently in Phoenix, Arizona. While the city is suffering from some budget cuts and had closed many of it's major attractions on Mondays, their city is meticulously kept. Particularly the downtown area. We commented frequently on how well kept and attractive the area was. I also notice the same is true about most parts of Cincinnati. Keeping your city attractive seems to reflect the values of the citizens as well as fosters pride.

Downtown Columbus just needs to keep people from smoking dope in the bus shelters and standing right out here at Broad and High urinating on the sidewalk!!!! Just stop in and ask the gals at the peanut shop how many days they stand in their shop roasting nuts and can tell you the size of people's who-has.
