Why?? As it stands now,it's untaxed and unregulated,so to speak.
In California,they're taxing it to the tune of 50-$100 an oz,depending on the city,and some of the newer laws require them to purchase a seperate piece of land for growing,forbiding them to grow at home.Nutty. And the fed is still ignoring the fact that 80% of residents voted yes. They're popping folks left and right.16,000 jailed in 2007 with most getting hard time in federal prisons and the rest going to these new "civilian detention centers".By far the largest portion of these were completely innocent of any STATE crimes and were following the laws to the T. Sometimes a bird in hand is far better than two in the bush. |
